This was a fun hotel to stay at. It’s in an old building which means the stairs all the way to the 4th floor were steep! They used a winch outside our canal view window to get our suitcases up to our room. I felt more comfortable walking down the stairs like it was a ladder. Twice during our stay I got downstairs and had to go back up to grab something I had forgotten. Buns of Steele! The room itself was not large but more than adequate for our stay. It had a bed, 2 chairs and a small table. We had lots of room for our suitcases and there were plenty of hooks to hang things on. The bathroom as well was small but had enough space for us for our 4 nights. The shower was nice and the water hot right away. It is a building with character and what we were looking for. We really enjoyed the experience. Lots of restaurants around. Easy access to public transit and easy to walk to the sites too. Not a good hotel if you have mobility issues or make sure you only have 1 flight of stairs to walk up.

My check-in went very smoothly and the staff were very friendly. Even though my English isn’t very good, they were very patient and helpful. The room was quiet and the bed was very comfortable — I slept really well. The bathroom was well-equipped with everything I needed. I highly recommend this hotel!
