Nice room. Clean. Stairs were narrow and hard to use with luggage. Coffee not available until 9am.

Lovely helpful staff. They lift the bags up to the room for you. Stairs are a bit too steep and narrow for some people, no lift. Close to everything, very convenient location.

The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The room was on the smaller side—so if you’re expecting a large, American-style hotel, this may not be for you—but it was perfect for those who appreciate old-world charm and a location right on the canal. The hotel is well-situated, about a 10 to 15-minute walk from many major sites. The stairs are steep and narrow, but still manageable even if you have mild mobility issues—just something to keep in mind. The only downside was that staff is only available from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, which made coordinating check-in and check-out around flight times a bit more challenging. However, overall it was a pleasant experience and a great spot for exploring the area.

Really helpful and friendly staff (Paulo and Ivy), comfortable room, good location and nice free coffee. Paulo recommended a good place of getting a cake for my son's birthday, and it was really nice! But do be aware of the staircase which could be a bit steep for taking your luggage up and down.

Wonderful hotel. Clean. Staff was very friendly and professional. They checked our baggage for no charge. There is no elevator in this hotel - the staff brought our heavy bags up to our room. Keep in mind there is also no A/C here. Overall the hotel was exceptional and a very nice place to stay.

Fantastisk lille Boutique hotel med 10 værelser. Vidunderlig udsigt til kanalen og meget centralt. Elsker denne slags perler. Ps. Ikke handicap venligt.

Helpful staff, nice area, but the suite on ground level absolutely doesn’t work. No effective aircondition and no real opportunity to have windows open due to them beeping right with the entrance.

We’ve stayed in several places in Europe and this was by far the smallest we’ve ever had to stay in. Staircase is not for faint of heart, felt very claustrophobic…

Exceptional location, beautiful canal house, and friendly staff

The hotel was in an excellent location. Very walkable, and on a beautiful street right on a canal. However, this property needs improvement. The bathroom was not deeply cleaned with the grout being dirty, and the prior guests used towl left hanging on the back door. The walls had scuff marks and needs to be painted. The flooring was not properly aligned leaving gaps. The bed in our room (king size) was to big for the room and blocked the power outlets and made it difficult to move around the room. A queen size bed should really be in there instead. The staff were nice enough and gave us a bottle of champagne due to the dirty towel being left over from a prior guests. This is really more like a two star hotel in a fantastic location. The stay was fine, but I would not stay here again. Also, there was not AC, this was probably an oversight on my part but the room got hot in the evening with the sun coming in. Fans were provided but the windows had to be left open to keep the stuffyness and heat out. There were no screens on the windows, so my partner got bit by bugs. With the windows open the noise was also much more noticeable. With the building being historic, I don't know if the hotel could really do anything about these issues though.

Nice location and that is what you are paying for. Room was small but clean and comfortable. We were bringing 3 suitcases with us (long trip) and fortunately we were in the first floor, still had to climb one lift of stairs. There is no elevator. Nice place. View to the canal.
