Excellent service, attentive staff, very clear English communication, very organized. The food at the restaurant was excellent - fresh, organic and tasted great. We had 5 or 6 meals there and everything was great! Highly recommend! Given how remote and small the island is (population less than 200), it’s remarkable that this facility offers such high quality. Air conditioning is top notch and our room was very comfortable.

We had a lovely time at Mar Y oro. The beaches, staff and food were all excellent we will definitely be back. PS rent a golf cart to explore the island

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The staff was super friendly at this clean hotel. Food at the restaurant is solid, especially given the limited good options on the island. The hotel is a bit dated, mostly outside of the rooms. I would highly recommend this hotel as the beach is great, close to the airport/port and store (not that the island is big to begin with).

Cadre splendide au pied d’une des plus belles plages de l’île. Restaurant de l’hôtel savoureux. Attention cependant aux horaires très limités le soir; difficile de dîner après 19h45 car le personnel veut « terminer tôt « … Hôtel qui mériterait une rénovation complète. Les prestations ne sont pas à la hauteur des prix pratiqués: trou dans le mur de la chambre; sol abîmé; très forte humidité (sol mouillé le jour de notre arrivée) Le personnel de direction n’a pas le sens du service: nous avons été facturé 7dollards pour un plat du petit déjeuner commandé en décalé de quelques minutes : très maladroit pour une facture de 1200 dollars sur 3 nuits

The staff went above and beyond to assist. They worked so hard. Safe for families and kids. Beach access right at hotel Food was great, enough to share. Erica went the extra mile. The rooms were spacious and comfortable.

We stayed in Room 1, and the view was absolutely breathtaking—a stunning way to take in the beauty of Isla Contadora. The room was spacious and clean, and the piña coladas were delicious. The hotel clearly had its glory days, and the charm is still there, but it could benefit from some updates. There are cracked walls and windows, a leaky sink pipe, and the banister on the balcony of Room 1 needs immediate repair—it poses a real safety concern. A fresh coat of paint and general maintenance would go a long way in restoring its former splendor. While the food was good, prices are on the high side compared to other great options on the island. For the price of the rooms, a complimentary bottle of water would be a thoughtful touch. That said, the location, views, and overall atmosphere made it worth the stay—with a little TLC, this place could truly shine again.

Property is right on thye beach. Staff was friendly and great at setting up services on the Island.

The staff was incredibly nice and the beach was outstanding. The property itself is beautiful if a bit worn. Would recommend for your stay on Contadora.

Todo lo que tiene que ver con este hotel es una maravilla, la playa es divina, los desayunos muy ricos y la estadia super excepcional, la verdad no se pueden perder de usar este hotel en isla de contadora

In die Jahre gekommenes Hotel. Schade, dass ein so schöner Standort nicht gepflegt wird. Das Badezimmer war schrecklich. Der Fußboden schmutzig. Hier wird nur das Geld von Touristen gezogen und seit Jahren nichts investiert.

Es un lugar espectacular. Tranquilo para relajarse y disfrutar la vista y la playa. Todos en el hotel son muy amables

O hotel tem uma ótima localização , frente mar , porém a infraestrutura do estabelecimento deixa muito a desejar. Não exite uma peça sequer , fora dos quartos , que possua ar condicionado . O calor é muito intenso em todas as areas comuns . Cobram muito e não oferecem conforto proporcional. Os funcionarios são muito gentis. O brackfast é muito limitado. Não aconselho o hotel a idosos ,pois as escadas que levam à praia não oferecem segurança e são mais de 30 degraus para descer e subir. Eu esperava muito mais deste hotel. Caro e devolve pouco.

Muy lindo el lugar, el mejor hotel en Contadora. Playa preciosa de arena muy fina.

Realmente la propiedad necesita mantenimiento, los baños después de salud de la playa están horribles la persona de recepción dice que le han dado aviso a los dueños y no hacen nada, adicional el baño tiene una cortina con un palo de hierro y este palo no es fijo tengan mucho cuidado ya q me lastimo en la cabeza y se los hice saber obviamente, me ofrecieron algo de comer en la playa pero hasta ahí, yo viaje con mi mamá y lo único q pensaba era gracias q fue a mi y no a ella. El chico del bar la atención fue excelente, súper cordial, las camas están cómodas y los aires funcionan maravilloso el Beach club está muy bien con acceso lindo a la playa. El hotel deben hacerle mantenimiento vidrios rotos, mesas rotas, el menú del restaurante realmente no es bueno, pedí un postre por teléfono con anterioridad para el cumple de mi mamá me dijeron q debí ordenarlo a mi llegada así lo hice y el día del cumple llego y simplemente me dijeron q no había sido posible q me darían 3 galletas de corazón igual no llegaron . Si tienes la posibilidad hospeda-te en otro lugar 4 elementos está súper lindo y si vas tienes q visitar el restaurante casa tortuga su chef es espléndido una joya en la isla. El hotel en mi opinión. Es de 1 estrellas no de 3 y 4 comi lo cobran. Este hotel deben realizarse los mantenimientos antes q pase algo. Si tienes hijos tener mucho cuidado ⛔️ o adultos mayores cómo fue mi caso. Agradezco q el accidente fue conmigo uno con mi mamá.

A ilha é simplesmente fantástica. As praias são paradisíacas. Ficamos no Mar y Oro. Hotel limpo, bem conservado com acesso direto à praia. Restaurantes maravilhosos. Equipe muito prestativa e cordial. Recomendo.

Solo deben invertir en más toallas para la habitación . Algunas ya se ven muy detereoradas. El servicio del personal es increíble,muy atentos todos. Desde la llegada, hasta la retirada. Muchas gracias por todo 👍

El personal es amable, las instalaciones son buenas. No obstante hay detalles que estan alejados en relación al costo diario de estadia $ 240. Ejemplo el desayuno no hay agua, si la requeris te cobran la botella. Los precios de las comidas son muy caras al ser huésped cautivo de una isla con relación a la ciudad de Panamá.

For 3 consecutive days restaurant didn’t have what we asked for. Either they need to update the menu or keep in stock what they offer on it. We ordered food at lunch and took 1 hour to be delivered. We had to leave without eating because had plan a boat toor.( we informed them before ordering and they insured us we had enough time) The place needs to be upgraded. We got the terrace suit which was in very bad shape for the price they ask for. Friendly staff but very bad management. Overpriced for the service they offer.
