Mar Y Oro

We had a lovely time at Mar Y oro. The beaches, staff and food were all excellent we will definitely be back. PS rent a golf cart to explore the island

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The staff was super friendly at this clean hotel. Food at the restaurant is solid, especially given the limited good options on the island. The hotel is a bit dated, mostly outside of the rooms. I would highly recommend this hotel as the beach is great, close to the airport/port and store (not that the island is big to begin with).

The staff went above and beyond to assist. They worked so hard. Safe for families and kids. Beach access right at hotel Food was great, enough to share. Erica went the extra mile. The rooms were spacious and comfortable.

We stayed in Room 1, and the view was absolutely breathtaking—a stunning way to take in the beauty of Isla Contadora. The room was spacious and clean, and the piña coladas were delicious. The hotel clearly had its glory days, and the charm is still there, but it could benefit from some updates. There are cracked walls and windows, a leaky sink pipe, and the banister on the balcony of Room 1 needs immediate repair—it poses a real safety concern. A fresh coat of paint and general maintenance would go a long way in restoring its former splendor. While the food was good, prices are on the high side compared to other great options on the island. For the price of the rooms, a complimentary bottle of water would be a thoughtful touch. That said, the location, views, and overall atmosphere made it worth the stay—with a little TLC, this place could truly shine again.

Property is right on thye beach. Staff was friendly and great at setting up services on the Island.

The staff was incredibly nice and the beach was outstanding. The property itself is beautiful if a bit worn. Would recommend for your stay on Contadora.

Service and hotel were excellent, all the employees were great, and the food exquisite. The sea just flawless, I will recommend it

El personal es amable, las instalaciones son buenas. No obstante hay detalles que estan alejados en relación al costo diario de estadia $ 240. Ejemplo el desayuno no hay agua, si la requeris te cobran la botella. Los precios de las comidas son muy caras al ser huésped cautivo de una isla con relación a la ciudad de Panamá.

For 3 consecutive days restaurant didn’t have what we asked for. Either they need to update the menu or keep in stock what they offer on it. We ordered food at lunch and took 1 hour to be delivered. We had to leave without eating because had plan a boat toor.( we informed them before ordering and they insured us we had enough time) The place needs to be upgraded. We got the terrace suit which was in very bad shape for the price they ask for. Friendly staff but very bad management. Overpriced for the service they offer.

Hotel provides all-inclusive service of dining, accommodation, beach and transportation. Stuff is the best, and location is close to ferry\airstrip

Nice view. Building oldening (floor in the "suite in plastic/syntetic and bad state) ,nice beach but unpractical (very exposed to winds and rough sea and huge stones breaking your eels...quality/price non convenient. Staff friendly at the bar , less for the others

Hotel is uniquely on one of the most beautiful beaches on the island conveniently located by the ferry.

Great staff service made our 4 night stay wonderful. The room was great, the view terrific, the food at the restaurant was very good and the beach and weather terrific.

All good, it has to improve the eco friendliness

Out stay was horrible we only can be 1 of 4 Night for the transporation and they charge in full. Really we not recoment This hotel to nobody
