This hotel is in a great location, close to a lot of attractions and food options. The staff has been extremely friendly. The rooms are HUGH. And great HOT water pressure. The pool is small, but the entire area feels very comfortable with a good amount of shade to combat the afternoon sun.

This was my first time visiting Peru, and I was a little nervous because I didn’t know what to expect. However, José Antonio Deluxe Hotel exceeded all of my expectations—and I’m very particular about my travel experiences! When we arrived, our initial room was a twin standard, which felt quite small. I informed the hotel about my VIP status with Expedia, and within 24 hours, they accommodated us with a king-size bed—a great start to our stay. One of the standout experiences was the level of service and hospitality. Their check-in policy has a midnight cutoff, but we arrived a little late, and they still allowed us to check in seamlessly. Throughout our five-day stay (which we extended for another 24 hours), the hotel staff was incredibly accommodating in every way possible. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, with the pancakes being my personal favorite. Even on days when they weren’t on the menu, the staff would still make them upon request—a perfect example of their above-and-beyond service. Our room was attended to daily, and even if we weren’t ready for service, the housekeeping team always made sure to return and keep our space spotless. They also provided a complimentary fruit platter in our room each day, which was a thoughtful touch. Despite a slight language barrier, the staff made every effort to ensure that all of our requests were met without hesitation. Their hospitality and attentiveness truly set this hotel apart. Stayed here for a week. Loved the location. Very very close to Mira Flores and all restaurants, parks and bars. Also close to the ocean and lots of taxis and transportation in the area. Hotel room was beautiful, morning buffet was bland but good, staff was nice and it’s in a clean area.
