Amazing customer service. Faye greeted me at the front desk and checked me in early, walked me to my room and helped carry my bags. I felt spoiled in the best way. I had expiation service from all staff. The pool and spa were amazing. I can’t express enough how great this place is! 12/10!

My brother and I have a wonderful experience here! The front staff was very welcoming and friendly. The entire hotel is beautiful and well kept. It was great walking distance to the royal mile and we appreciate the coffee shops near by

Apex Waterloo Hotel in Edinburgh was newly updated and renovated with onsite dining, bar, indoor pool, gym, sauna and spa. The rooms are comfortable with attractive bedding and bathroom amenities. Dining is very reasonable and the onsite bar is great. Breakfast for a reasonable fee is complete with custom cooked Scottish entrees as well as a buffet bar with fruit, pastries, coffees, and fruit juices.
The hotel is in close walking distance to Old Town and New Town including a number of museums, and city parks. If you arrive at EDI airport you can purchase a multi day tram pass that allows cross town trips as well as returning to the airport. The hotel is a short walk to Waverley Train station.
Nearby are day trip tours as well as car rental.

Food - breakfast was really really good with attentive service and THE MOST AMAZING fresh waffles!!!
However room was not as well appointed as it maybe should have been for the price and also a lack of snacks/mini bar etc meant that it didnt match the cost paid

This property was easy to find and great location. It was quiet but also in the heart of the town. Loved the location. The staff were great room was good and loved the pool, sauna and steam room.

Excellent hotel. Very nice reception staff. V g location. Only note of constructive feedback I’d give is that by time I got to breakfast at 10 am the bowls of fresh fruit were empty and there were only crusts left to toast. I appreciate that might have been temporary.

The hotel is close to Waverley Station and the Edinburgh Tram stop on St. Andrew's Square and the Hop on Hop off bus starts just across the street. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

It was absolutely lovely! Very close to Edinburgh Waverley and some lovely restaurants. Calton Hill is right next door as well. The front desk staff was very helpful, and the room was plush and clean. We wish we could stay longer!
