Excellent olde-world charm nouveau boutique hotel with friendly service and prime location on an adorable street near La Rambla and Placa Cataluna. Clean, comfortable, spacious, gorgeous. Our sanctuary after walking all over beautiful Barcelona. We had an interior room without a street view, but we could still open a window to the neighboring cube of rooms and residences. If you want cold stark modern sleek corporate, stay at some generic cookie-cutter chain hotel. But if you want a chic vintage vibe in the heart of the Gothic Quarter, Hotel Nouvel is the place for you.

A little tired inside but clean and tidy. OK for a few nights. They need to provide cups in the room to accompany the kettle.

No servía el elevador, y como mi habitación estaba en 1er piso, simplemente no me ofrecieron la posibilidad de usar otro elevador que se encuentra en otra zona del hotel (de lo cual me enteré el día que me fuí). No hay bell boy ni nadie que te ayude con las maletas. Al limpiar la habitación no dejaron repuestos de papel de baño. Tuve que bajar a pedir 1 rollo de papel (en un hotel 3 estrellas...??) Fallo la energía eléctrica en el hotel pero no nos daban información y cuando lo hicieron fue de muy mala gana. Hay personal amable pero otros que no deberían esta en atención a huéspedes. Señorial es el adjetivo que usan para no decir que es muy viejo. El barrio gótico donde se encuentra el hotel es inseguro pues roban constantemente. Lo puedes ver en las ventanas de los ediciciis contiguos donde los vecinos cuelgan mantas quejándose amargamente de los ladrones. Se publicitan como tres estrellas y no creo que lleguen a una. No vale lo que cuesta. Seguramente existen mejores opciones. No recomendable.

Staff is not very friendly. Felt like only the housekeeper was approachable. Room was clean when we arrived. This hotel is very close to stores and tourist locations. No fridge in room. Hotel lights are very dimmed. It’s an ok hotel due to its location. Elevator was also out for three days. Was using the staff elevator but this elevator does not go to the main lobby.

客室に冷蔵庫がないのが少し残念。 ミネラルウォーターが最初の日だけサービスで置いてあって、2にちめからは自動販売機で買わないといけないのはどうなんだろう？

Schone kamers, goede bedden en douche en vriendelijk personeel. De ligging is heel centraal in de Gotische wijk naast de Ramblas en de universiteit. Weliswaar is het een hout gebouw. Contactgeluid is dan ook onvermijdelijk. Het was een rustig hotel, dus wij hebben daar weinig last van gehad. Ook sliepen wij aan de achterzijde en dus de rustige zijde. Aan de straatkant kan het wat temperingen zijn.

The room was nice and clean. Receptionist had good sense of humor.
