The check in reception guy made our day. He had already locked up to go home for the night, I asked him if we could get 2 coke zeros and he gladly reopened everything and we got our cokes. He didn’t have to as he was almost out of the building. Thank you for the stay it was wonderful highly recommend the location as well.

We stayed here to visit the Christmas markets in Gamla Stan and it was great! Very easy to get where we needed to go and lots of dining options nearby. It’s truly in the heart of the old town. The building is old, which is fine, but the upkeep was lacking. That’s not a complaint, just an observation because truly it didn’t affect our stay. It just wasn’t the nicest place we’ve ever stayed. The staff was fantastic. Helpful and kind. Getting there from the train was a bit tricky with our luggage. We took a taxi out which was a bit easier. We’d stay here again and recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Gamla Stan.
Go to House of Smörgåsbord for dinner just up the road. It’s the best local food we had in Sweden!

Fräscht & trevlig personal. Tyvärr ingen duschkräm / schampoo i duscharna. Hade inte kostat hotellet mer än 5 kr per gäst per natt då. Frukost förstår jag inte ingår på grund av det generösa priset, men just duschkräm det kan de lätt lägga till 5-10 kr per natt för.. Plastmuggar inte bra för miljön, borde ersättas med pappersmuggar i rummen då de avger betydligt mindre c02 vid förbränningsanläggningen för soporna. Bra läge vid slottet. Rekommenderar trots allt, men förbättringsåtgärder borde komma på plats.

Great location - easy walk to restaurants and boats etc. Room was good. Only negative was to pay for coffee in the morning and no coffee making available in room. Enjoyable stay

The property was hard to find. The staff member wasn't helpful. The description of the property was absolutely not accurate, it was not made clear that the bathrooms were shared. The "breakfast" was coffee and stale snacks from the night before. I would not recommend this place.

Jättefint rum men tyvärr ingen frukost. Positivt att fönstret gick att öppna, rummet var väldigt varmt vid ankomst. Duschar/toalett i korridor var fina och såg nyrenoverade ut men fogarna hade redan börjat mögla.

Arrived at 7:30 pm and the room was guaranteed with my Mastercard. On arrival I was told that the payment machine was defect and asked to go to a cash machine to withdraw cash for the stay, quite unproffessional attitude from the staff. It was not possible to pay electronically other than Swish (has to be Swedish resident) or Revolut (which I do not consider generally accesible). Invoice not possible and only other option was in case to cancel the booking which was not really an option as hotels that night was full. After a long day and flights this was not good at all! Felt unwelcome and not taken seriously - STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL!
