Room was good. The website said they had a bar but in fact they did not. No elevator but over all ok

Our room was fabulous with views of the ocean and the street activities. The pool was a calming place to be after a day of Stonetown exploration.

Hotel has an antique charme. Room is smelly and has seen better times. Variaty of breakfast poor.

Das Hotel erinnert an ein Riad in Marakesch. Mal was anderes. Suite mit Meerblick ist schön. Bad mit Tür nach oben offen etwas unpraktisch weil man keine Privatsphäre hat. Einrichtung im Hotel echt schön und mal was anderes. Frühstück ist super. Viel Auswahl. Es gibt keinen Alkohol im Hotel. Pool schön aber keine Liegen. Strand ist nicht zum Sonnen geeignet da das Hotel direkt an einem Fährhafen liegt. Daher auch ziemlich laut. Lage aber zentral um alle Sehenswürdigkeiten gut zu Fuß zu sehen. Personal eher zurückhaltend aber hilfsbereit

Great place to stay if getting the ferry from Dar Es Salaam and good space to explore from for a few days. Lovely room and reasonably priced. Non alcohol hotel which I think makes it a bit cheaper than others, which is great value.

Omar who managed the breakfast service was excellent and immediately put guests at ease with his warmth and attentiveness. Young Mohammed on staff was great and highly responsive to guest needs and carried himself with professionalism like all of the staff. The hotel has excellent location and high walk ability to Stone Town attractions. I particularly liked my room with seafront view. The property is very well managed and a place for potential improvement is considering a ventilation system for the bathroom.

Loved this hotel. Enjoyed a pleasant swim in their gorgeous pool. Delicious breakfast. Very helpful staff. Brilliant location on seafront.

Great room palatial and with great breakfast except lift and no gym and cold pool ! Only room has air con not the hotel itself

At check in advised we could have a family room instead of two rooms. I said yes. But management insisted we pay for them both coating $125 more. Will not return. Area around is nice and Stone Town convenient.

The property is really beautiful and has a lovely restaurant on the second floor with a great view of the ocean. My only complaint is that they didn't have a beer/wine selection, but that was minor.

The Freddie Mercury room had a wonderful view, was spacious, and was absolutely fantastic.

Et svært vakkert og litt gammelt hotell med krinkelkroker og tretrapper. Mange fint utskårne detaljer i mørkt tre. Vi bodde inn mot atriumet, rolig og flott

A perfect location in the Town. Lovely breakfast choice, helpful friendly staff. The pool was shaded but a welcome relief. The room was huge and hreat. The taps were a bit wonky but othetwise a hotel that i could easily recommend
