I was in a bad personal situation, the staff at this place go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable.
Explaining my situation to the man this morning he was more than understanding and ever so kind to my situation. Helped bring my bags from my room outside and then again helped me take my bags out the front of the property
The room was excellent and more than affordable.
I highly and strongly recommended k2 for anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming stay

I rated K2 as excellent value for the price. I stayed for six nights and had a great experience overall. Because I left at 5am each morning and didn’t return until around 9pm—outside reception hours—I didn’t get the chance to request a linen change. However, I’m completely confident that if I had asked, it would have been taken care of straight away.
I booked a single room with a shared bathroom, though I wouldn’t really call it “shared” in the usual sense. Each bathroom is its own private room, so it felt just like being at home—simply step out of your bedroom and walk a few steps down the corridor to your own bathroom space.

The hotel provides most facilities, but my room didn’t have an air conditioner. Although there was a fan, it wasn’t sufficient for staying comfortably in the summer.
Additionally, there were no window screens, so bugs could easily fly in.

The bedroom was decent, same with the shared kitchen and bathrooms - they had what you needed. The code locks on every door were frustrating, great for them as it’s a method they can use to easily scam/take advantage of by charging $51 if you get locked out

Clean room, super friendly staff (great shout to Hazel), 10 mins bus to downtown Brisbane, since I have booked for more than 7 days, staff is really nice to upgrade my room. Thank you K2 team. One of the best hostels I would recommend!!!!

Very clean and organised, got told there was some shops down the road but didn’t visit them, staff were very nice and accomodating, air con was beautiful and beds are so comfy.

Single room was OK but there was no one available at reception between midday and 2 PM. Pain if you are travelling long distances to get there. There is no access for parking when you arrive. You have to find a roadside park around the corner a few hundred metres away.
