Very friendly staff, couldn’t do enough for you. Very clean rooms and nice restaurant.

Zimmer und das Personal war sehr nett und zuvorkommend.

The staff were so helpful and nice. Location was very central: walking distance to City centre, museums and Volkstheater subway. Favourite part of the hotel was the delicious breakfast surrounded by tranquil planting in the ground floor atrium. Great way to start the day.

The atmosphere was lovely and the location is excellent. The server staff didn’t seem to communicate well. I got forgetting about twice once during a time that was busy and once when it was not. I refrained from dining at the hotels restaurant because of this. The room was super clean but the pillows are unacceptable.

The Hotel Gilbert is a gem in the heart of Vienna. The location is perfect for many famous tourist sites, but it is tucked down a quiet side street so it isn’t noisy at all. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. The hotel itself is delightful. Comfortable rooms with plenty of amenities, helpful, and friendly staff and great food combine to make a wonderful stay. All four in our party were more than satisfied with our stay.

We stayed here for our honeymoon and we were very happy with the location, the service and the quietness this hotel provides. We stayed for 5 days in total and too bad we didn’t manage to get the free drinks they offered daily! I’ll recommend anyone visiting Vienna to stay here.

Excellent hotel, very good facilities. Friendly staff, great breakfast. Ideal location for main tourist areas. Nicely quirky! Shame the bar was closed Sunday and Monday evenings. This was our second visit and we would stay again.

Super nice hotel with good breakfast. I can highly recommend. This was my 3rd stay at Gilbert.

Overall a great hotel in a fantastic location, which is reflected in the price. The staff are helpful and professional. The rooms are nice and well appointed but dont really reflect the cost of staying here. Presumably its all about its location.

Nice hotel. Street facing rooms are very noisy if you have the windows open. We stayed in April and the room was hot for sleeping. AC not available until summer months. Rooms are very small. We had two suitcases and there was no where to put them.

Locally hotel, rooms small but fresh and clean. Rooms to front quite noisy from trams. Breakfast has loads on not typical options
