Amazing place. Very kind people. We arrived a couple of hours before normal check in, after long trip from Denmark, but there were no problem for us to check in a bit early. Perfect location, and a perfect restaurant.

This hotel is in a fabulous location and we had a lovely big room, although the bathroom was rather small. I didn't think the bed/pillows were that comfortable, which stopped me from giving full marks, but I would highly recommend this place, which also served a great breakfast. The German woman on reception every afternoon/evening was also particularly helpful and friendly. Definitely worth staying when visiting this gorgeous city.

Obwohl die Parkgarage für ältere Semester ohne Lift eher mühsam ist. Ds Hotell liegt gut gelegen mitten en der Fussgängerzone

Centralt beliggende hotel midt i gågaden. Rigtig hyggelig østrigsk stil. Første prioritet når vi vælger hotel er at der skal være aircondition. Det var der også men den virkede ikke. Nævnte det i receptionen flere gange men den blev ikke lavet og der var virkelig varmt på værelset om natten. Morgenmaden var ok. Ikke noget ekstraordinært, men der var det man skulle bruge. Rigtig dejlig udendørs restaurant med en meget serviceminded tjener. Pigerne i receptionen var søde og smilende men der var ikke så meget hjælp i dem. Spurgte om at låne et strygejern. Efter 25 min spurgte vi igen og efter 1 time hvor det ikke var kommet, gav vi op på det. Havde rejst i små 4 uger, så meget af vores tøj havde været vasket undervejs men kunne godt bruge et strygejern. Et hyggeligt, centralt beliggende hotel som er ok. Men ville ikke vælge det igen pga den manglende aircondition.

Super hotel avec un décor authentique et rustique. Vraiment très bien situé. De plus, le petit-déjeuné brunch est fantastique et délicieux.

Staff was excellent - friendly and efficient. Breakfast has many options and great made to order eggs and bacon, dinner at the restaurant was one of our best meals, location is amazing and hotel itself is historic!

Our stay at this hotel was unfortunately well below expectations. From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff were cold and unwelcoming, which set the tone for the rest of our visit. The most frustrating issue was the air conditioning. The hotel controls the temperature, so we had no ability to adjust it from our room. On our first night—during a stretch of nearly 90-degree weather—the air conditioning in our room was broken. Despite repeated calls to the front desk, the staff offered little help. The only solution provided was for someone to manually turn the system on every 30 minutes throughout the night. This required us to keep calling the front desk repeatedly, even waking up the staff member at times because they had forgotten to switch it back on. It was incredibly disruptive and completely unacceptable for any level of hotel, let alone one that positions itself as accommodating to guests. While we understand that things can go wrong, the lack of urgency, empathy, and basic customer service shown by the staff made a bad situation even worse. I would strongly advise others to consider alternative accommodations. Also, they claim to be a 4-star hotel, however, the only amenities in the room were soap and shampoo. No lotion or conditioner. No bellmen either . Moreover, breakfast was not included in the price and cost 24€/person. The hotel did credit us the first night due to the broken air and moved us to another room, but the situation was already fractured.

This hotel was great! It’s old and has a lot of charm, very unique! The location was perfect and the staff members were very helpful! I would definitely stay here again.

Central location, well appointed bright rooms in an historic hotel, terrific breakfast buffet. However, we were given a voucher for a free welcome drink at the hotel bar when we signed a card saying that we didn't require daily room cleaning service. But we had to pay full price for a glass of wine because we selected a more expensive wine off the menu, not their 'house' wine. We weren't aware of any restrictions, nothing was written on the voucher and we had placed them on the table when we ordered our wine. We felt the error was theirs which they more or less acknowledged but they wouldn't offer us a credit or even a discount at check out. It was a small thing but we thought it was the least they could do. We had two rooms and stayed for three days.
