Nice hotel near the airport. All good, except the traffic going to the airport on most days from mid-afternoon to 8:00 or 8:30 pm is horrendous due to construction at the airport. Utlize the hotel shuttle if possible, as they can use the bus lane.

The shuttle bus driver that day (11th morning) is a racist. There were altogether two passengers on the bus (including me). The driver kindly asked another passenger at which gate he would like to alight. Then, when arrived, that passenger alighted and gave the driver tips. The driver then shouted at me: “you, get off here!” And then asked me, “any tips?” Of course in this case, I would not tip. I didn’t answer and simply alighted there as he said. And then he said, “fxxking Asian”. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.

Airport shuttle was convenient and relatively painless. The hotel lobby was shabby but the room wasn’t too bad, however, breakfast was just horrible. Extremely poorly organized and it took us an hour to get our food - some of which was still frozen in the center. I would definitely avoid this place as there should be better options available.

Dinner ordered from the bar was very good. Breakfast, however, was very confusing as one had to write down an order, pay for it, then give it to the preparer. It took nearly an hour to receive our food which was not very good. Please add an additional food preparer. Shower drain in Rm 427 is very slow and needs to be unclogged.

We stayed one night before an early morning flight departure. We selected Aloft because of positive previous experiences with the chain. We were disappointed by this particular hotel because of the atmosphere. This hotel gives off a very industrial "grey" vibe, like you are confined in a concrete slab. The hotel lacks the vibrancy of other properties of the chain. As an "airport" hotel there was nothing wrong with it, it just did not kickstart our family vacation with a big positive vibe.

The location was good, my interaction with the girl at the front desk when I arrived after midnight was good. But I couldn’t get in touch with the front desk in the morning. The signal was constantly busy. Upon entering you can see the hotel is very run down and needs to be updated. The concrete floor is cracked and everything is very worn. The bed was comfortable and location convenient. I prefer when hotels have self service coffee in the lobby area available without the credit system. The Sheraton across the street looked much nicer

This property had worst Service of all time, I have been to montreal several times, lived in Novotel, Sandman, Embassy Suites, and many more. However, my worst experience was Marriott, customer service was the WORST, they charged us for parking, for breakfast there was no options to eat anything Warm or hot, just some bread n butter were provided. During night no Manager were on shift to take care of problems. Totally DISSATISFIED, when it comes to brand name like Marriott.

We got in very late and we were sent to a room that was already occupied, we had to walk all the way back downstairs and inform them and the front desk staff said nothing they just issued us another room which turned out to be a handicap assessable room so they shower was cold and slippery and the bed was almost on the ground. I was too tired to go back to the front desk to let them know that wasn’t the room I paid for so just made due.

Room was clean and had a modern design. Draining of water in the sink was too slow and the flush could be quicker as well. Staff was friendly. Parking (there is a fee) can be tight when the hotel is fully booked but is manageable. Overall, good place to stay, especially if you need to be close to the airport.
