Every staff member we met was very nice and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was great. We even got an upgraded room with a river view. The David Thompson burger from the shoe and canoe pub was outstanding as well. I am very pleased with this stay and will be staying here again if ever needed. I will also be recommending my friends and family to stay here when they visit. Thank you to everyone that made our stay special.

We have stay here for to night come everything was great except we didn’t buy breakfast. 5 min walk you can reach the Chinatown where with a lot of restaurants. Or, you can try cafe at hotel main floor . In room, mini refrigerator, coffee maker are provided. We had part of view of Bow river. Room rate is acceptable. Definitely come back when visiting Calgary again.

Staffs are friendly and helpful except one female restaurant staff on duty dated yesterday who was a bit unfriendly after front desk staff guided me to get a glass of warm water at the restaurant. She did not have to act so unfriendly. To be honest, l was a bit “ pissed off “ as there was not hot water boiler inside the guest room ! Others all good. We and another couples will check in again at this hotel between Oct 10 - Oct 12, 2023 and reassess again whether it is commendable to stay at this hotel to other friends who desire to visit Calgary in the near future. Thank you

We have stay here for to night come everything was great except we didn’t buy breakfast. 5 min walk you can reach the Chinatown where with a lot of restaurants. 6 -10 minutes walking distance to supermarket. Few homeless people 3 blocks away. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful except forgot to give me a morning call on Oct 12, 2023 which l had requested the day before ( late afternoon on Oct 11 ). Recommend to stay at rooms with the river view because the other side of the building has a nearly Fire Rescue Station, quite noisy.

Nice beds. Newly renovated bathrooms. Room service non existent lots of calls to room service end up at front desk then goes to kitchen without answer. Gave up. Mysterious ice machine location on 4 and 8th floor. room keycards do not allow access to those floors. Front desk told me ice was on those floors but failed to mention that I cannot access those floors making the ice machines inaccessible. Misguided staff. Clueless waitress in restaurant took forever to take our orders and even longer to come back for drink orders and even longer still to bring our tabs. This staff the kids were nice. The manager is both clueless and unaware of these issues. I hope this helps him out. Also the elevator has buttons on both sides but you can only really use on side because a keycard has to be scanned very confusing when you first get into elevator that the other side is as useless as the hotel manager here. Sorry sir or madam. I hope this helps you out. Parking is decent here. One car is comped with my stay. Oh yeah pool water and hot tub water was managed very poorly like a sleezy motel. Get someone in there who knows what they are doing.

Right from the second we arrived we had a fantastic time at the Delta Downtown Calgary. The river, Chinatown, and lots of restaurants and bars are within walking distance. Breakfast was included at the Shoe and Canoe located right in their lobby. The room was nice and clean and modern and the front desk and restaraunt staff were also a delight. The only thing i would consider when staying at this hotel is that it is right downtown, so its fairly active and loud at night. Other than that, absolutely wonderful. We will definitely stay again.

The room service menu was extremely limited, and had zero options for young children. The food itself was disappointing. They appear to be using strictly bison meat instead of Alberta beef, which seems strange. There was an issue with the water pressure which made the shower unusable. Parking is very challenging for full size SUVs.
