The room was very clean the bed was very comfortable and nicely made up, parking was easy. The young lady at the front desk was very polite and greeted with a smile and recommendation.

This is in a great location. Right near a go station or even the street car that runs west to east along lakeshore boulevard and queen street. Highly recommend checking out port credit to the west for a night out as well as some of the food in Lakeview as well around the hotel.

Avec l attente interminable à la location de voiture, nous avons dépassé les horaires de réception et tombons sur un motel à la place d un hotel, qui ne porte pas le même nom par ailleurs,ainsi qu une porte close. Nous sommes revenus le lendemain, pour nous apercevoir que cet établissement est en rénovation « douteuse ».

Awful experience. Rooms haven’t been cleaned since the 90’s. Filthy floors, filthy furniture. Staff lying saying “no rooms available”. TVs didn’t work in two rooms. Crack addicts and alcoholics hovering in the parking lot. In the morning I got kicked out - they claim they are “fumigating” the motel for bedbugs. (AKA World Cup in a few days and pricing increasing). Never got the “free wifi” code either. Fridge was warm, maybe not even plugged in.
The showers were scalding hot, to freezing cold. (Better than nothing though.) I definitely would NOT recommend a child to use the showers and risk burning, without an adult present.
Worst experience for a very long awaited life time trip. Never ever coming back to toronto.
Toronto is for ultra rich people, not middle class families on a budget.
Local sushi place a few blocks east was repulsive. The whole area is a dump of questionable businesses.
There were birds galore at the boardwalk harbour. It was a nice walk about.
Oakdale is place to visit they say. I’m going home.
This is the second time Expedia has fooled me on a room. They are crooks too. These motels are definitely not what they claim. I’m back to sleeping in a car rental, for my third day of four. Toronto is totally unaffordable for families.

no quede satisfecho por que lo que se me proporciono antes de la reservacion no coincidia en la habitacion, la amenidades imcompletas , al pedir en recepcion se me completo 5 dias despues mi estacia fue de 17 dias , la limpieza horrible y mal olor ,lo que causo que me cambiaran de habitacion 4 dias antes de finalizar mi reserva. cuando pedia con la anfitriona razones por su incumplimiento contestaba muy desagradablente con frases como ''NO SOY TU MAMÁ '' al referirse que no tiene porque mantener la limpieza o lo que conlleva a esta situacion, ademas de la demora de entrega de llave y al dia siguiente pedirme la lleve para ella sacar copia y demorar en devolverla , fue negligencia de su parte fue muy mala experiencia por las esperas que me hicieron pasar.

The room was clean and the property has potential and it sounds like they are making changes for the better.
But the appliances needed updating. The mini fridge wasn't plugged on so it was warm. One of the control knobs for the climate control was missing. The microphone phone and fridge were all yellowed with age, and the phone line wasn't attached, and the microwave cord had been cut. So they were more... Props than use able appliances.

It’s a good hotel, but when you’re traveling, people need a TV. This is a very low expense for a hotel to have a TV! Good hotel, outside of the city, very clean safe area, but damn dog you need TVs

Absolutely wonderful stay. The staff at the desk was INCREDIBLY hospitable, warm, and professional. Looking forward to a future stay.
Also very close to a GO train stop, close to both Toronto area airports. Parking was plentiful.
HUGE bathrooms, huge tub. Incredible water pressure.

Neighbours kept us up very late up till 3:00 AM. Room had a musky smell. Bed was uncomfortable and blanket was thin. Bathroom wasn’t very nice either. Front desk lady was kind.

Worse motel I have ever been too. First of all they changed their name to “lakeshore hotel” when it is actually green acres motel. Already a lie, in no way does it seem like a hotel. Better to keep the old name at least you are not deceiving people. Mind you we checked in at 4:30 pm (checking in time was 3PM) and we were told our room wasn’t cleaned yet. The cleaning lady tried to get us another room but there were no room available (very weird). So she asked us to come back in 30 mins as they did not want us to watch them clean. We come back and again not sure what they actually cleaned? The bedsheet had holes everywhere, there were stains. We found garbage underneath the TV. The bathroom door would not even lock and close. The shower was non existent. It looked more like a prison room. I wouldn’t be surprised if they had bed bugs as well. There was no way for us to control the temperature of the room. It’s not like I paid $50 for this, I did pay a good amount and got the worse thing on earth. We asked to pay more to upgrade our room, however we were told that all rooms look the same. Even the chair as shown in the booking page was missing in our room. The service was so slow, every time we had to go to the receptionist. Literally in an hour or two we checked out and went to another hotel. Our money went to waste here and we would never recommend anyone to come here!

It’s a shame that Hotels.com even decided to list this as a hotel offering to public. This is place can’t be called a hotel. It’s a dump for people to hangout and smoke illegal herbs! Overwhelming smell of smokes ( you know the kind). Dirty, dusty and filthy rooms with outdated everything from floor to ceiling. You can hear the smoke alarm chirping from various rooms due to dead batteries not replaced. Please do not book this place. Move on and find other options.

Parking was great, renovations underway but was checked in and in my room in about 2 minutes. Very clean room. No coffee machine, no iron or board, probably could have asked but I made due. Will stay there again as that area is great.
