Hampton Inn by Hilton Halifax Downtown

Rooms are nice location is great, breakfast was above average, as a smoker it would have been nice to at least have an ashtray at an outdoor smokers location

Bed was comfy and breakfast offerings were good! Would stay again.

Great location. Staff were great with fixing a room issue. Walkable for downtown Halifax.

The property was going through renovations on the main floor only. 1st night, lights went out in all the rooms at 9:30pm. Husband was in the gym. Day 2, the gentleman at the front could not keep us in the same room and had to move us from a room with King to 2 queen. Day 3, our alarm to wake us up went off and the man at the desk came up and knocked at the door because they thought it was the fire alarm. Day 4 , no one touched the temperature gauge but the temperature in the room went up so high that the fire alarm light started blinking. I called the front desk and they made it stop blinking and I asked why was that blinking and she said it was the steam from the shower but no one took a shower. So glad to leave Day 5.

The hotel was lovely but I felt with the price of the hotel you should not have to pay extra for parking,just my opinion.Breakfast had a great selection.

Hotel in general was great the only clitch was no outside parking and EV charging station.

All disposable products at the breakfast/in room. Very environmentally unfriendly. Booked room for 5 adults with Expedia but only 2 queen beds. Offered cot for $25 fee but rooms are small and would not fit.

All was good. But I guess I was just a little annoyed that the elevator to the parking garage wasn’t working when I went to leave. But your front desk, staff were amazing and looked after my luggage while I went to walk all the way up to get my car.

The breakfast was great, our room have got cleaned, bed made or fresh towels.

Breakfast has limited choices and the elevator could get crowded during peak hours. Parking within the property is also not guaranteed if the hotel is fully booked

We were able to park the car and walk to so many things! Great location.

The breakfast varied from day to day meaning different choices. Always plentiful and the staff was helpful in accommodating gluten free bread. Room was clean with all the usual amenities. Nice to have the little coffee maker in the room. The front desk staff were reasonably friendly but did not seem particularly knowledgeable when asked a question. Perhaps they were new. Good location

The hotel is currently under some renovations/improvement and so there were workers on site. The only thing it effected about our visit was the breakfast and so we had to walk a short distance to the connecting hotel for breakfast. Breakfast was great! Our room was awesome! Thank you!
