Hotel canceled reservation the day of travel

BRILLIANT STAFF LOVELY FRESH BREAKFAST ONLY DOWNSIDE WAS THE ROOM WAS VERY TIRED STAINED CARPET ETC

Very fast check in room spotless and an excellent breakfast. Bar got busy after a concert at the m & s arena but that is to be expected. Perfect location for a concert at the arena which is literally next door to hotel. Would definitely recommend

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable although the pillows were a bit hard. Breakfast was very good with a wide variety of choice. Great location for a city visit.

We had several blood stains on the sheets, duvet cover, towel and pillow case and asked the chamber person if they could change them. They did and there was still blood on the pillow case. There was also a large coffee stain by the bedside. The hotel alarm went off at 7.15am, which was way earlier than we wanted to wake.

Second visit. Won’t be the last. Cheers

Whilst the bedrooms themselves have been updated the carpet in my room was heavily stained. The bathrooms are also pretty dated with damaged mirrors and old fittings. The location is great for the arena and conference centre, and the bar was staffed by a friendly crew.

It is a great location, quite and has many attractions near by, kind staff. The only let down was the room had many moths/flies (couldn’t tell what they were) in the room.

Hotel is in a good location. Warm friendly greeting at reception. Room was ok in first inspection, but carpets needed a deep clean, and pain on the curtains. Lack of some amenities such as bottled water, safe & biscuits. Not bad value. Breakfast was ok, but was very busy so a bit of queueing needed.

This is the perfect hotel if you are visiting the M&S Bank arena, just steps away.

Great location for docks

Decent location for a couple of nights in the city but few things to be aware of when booking. It’s an incredibly noisy hotel, I’m not a light sleeper AT ALL and I was awake pretty much every hour with someone drunk AF shouting about something, trying to get in the wrong room or generally being an idiot. The rooms are really tired and desperately in need of upkeep, particularly the bathrooms which when combined with the fact we got assigned to a room with an accessible wet room instead of a standard bathroom (despite not requesting that) ended up giving the vibe of “local swimming bath in the early 90s not decorated ever since” - also just a note that it’s not an optimal experience using a sink that’s barely shin height. Few other thoughts - Breakfast was the definition of ‘mid’, staff some of the least interested humans alive (had two interactions with them where they didn’t even speak), the lifts are slower than just walking and the car park is £54 for 2 days reduced to £36 if you go on the side quest to get your ticket stamped at the hotel, then stand in line at the car park office, then go pay at the machine. Overall unless the location is essential I’d give it a miss.

Vi hade önskat ett tyst rum som inte låg nära hissen men fick ett rum precis utanför. Utanför vårt rum var det fläktar och hjulet där det spelades musik. Jag fick sova med öronproppar. Rummet var helt okej, hade hål i ena handduken och örngottet. Borde slängas direkt istället för att lämnas som nytt i rummet. Min mor såg en silverfisk och jag en nattfjäril som jag misstänker förstör kläder. Så hoppas inte vår kläder har klarat sig. Frukosten var bra. Resturangen kunde vara högljud ibland men annars bra. Kommer troligtvis inte bo här igen tyvärr men annars var läget väldigt bra. Dock tycker jag priset var alldeles för dyrt för skicket.

So loud and Manager attitude was not helpful.

The room was clean and comfortable. Check-out good and efficient. Check-in was slow; only one member of staff was processing. Breakfast was busy, with long queues, missing items, and poor quality.
