I like the position of the hotel, it is convenient that I can go every sightseeing places by foot within a reasonable time period around 15-30 mins.
I don’t like the cleanliness of the hotel, I feel it is a little bit dirty, I found a lighter under the bedside table, and some dirt around the toilet. I also found that there are some broken parts of toilet facilities. And when the box tissue is run out, the housekeeper does not refill it after tidy up the room in the second day.

Stayed one night at Novotel Liverpool with my wife and three kids. Minibar completely empty, not even basic drinking water provided. Called room service in the early hours asking for water and was told: “It’ll cost £5 to bring it up, or you can come down and get it yourself from the bar.”
Absolutely disgraceful customer service. For a so-called 4-star hotel, this is unacceptable. Avoid at all costs

These rooms are so old that there is mold all over the bathrooms. The sinks and shower don’t drain due to obvious hair blockages. The carpet is dirty and grimy. The staff were friendly but the accommodation was truly just gross.

A very smart hotel really close to everything we wanted. The room was clean and tidy. The shower leaked water on the bathroom floor but was only a minor issue.
I only had one electric socket by the bed so only one item could be charged. So had to unplug the hotel telephone. Way so few sockets?
Apart from that the hotel was good. The reception and bar were very nice.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very good with excellent shower and seperate toilet which lacked a small sink to wash hands. It was also very quiet. If we return to liverpool this hotel would definately be on our list.
