Staff very friendly, polite and welcoming. Room spacious with a great view. Breakfast was very good and location brilliant for local amenities. Overall very accommodating.

If you get it for the right price, it can be great value for money. I do believe it’s going to be converted to apartments so, the bar is not well stocked and nothings been refurbished for a long time! Breakfast was decent and we found the room comfortable. It’s also in a great location.

Very comfortable room with a lovely sea view and only ten minutes’ downhill walk to the station.

Nice newly refurbished courtyard room but let down by the bathroom with a broken shower door, part of the shower fell off and the sink tap was broken. A shame as the location was great but just somewhat tired.

We had a very comfortable and peaceful overnight stay and slept very well in the bed which was very comfortable. Breakfast was exactly the food we enjoy and we were very happy with it all.

Staff were absolutely amazing. Room was small BUT beautifully done, clean and more than enough space for just the 2 of us. Ideal location. We will be back

Room was top of hotel overlooking a crumbling slated roof but it was the cheapest option and loud seagulls every morning sitting on the roof. The room was adaquate but bathroom only had tiled floor so shower went everywhere. Staff were good and polite and helpful, breakfast was fine and hot but also minimal varied selection. Parking was atrocious, with only 6 spaces ? at £10 per night because street parking was normally nose to tail, and full for 24 hours. Because I have a blue badge I parked on the double yellow lines one night and found a space 10 cars down the other ones. Close to front with a zig zag path down to beach from hotel front door basically. Fine for the money apart from parking problems.

Perfect for our quick top over in Exmouth

No evening restaurant was a bit inconvenient The only real issue is there is only parking for about 7 cars which has to be prebooked and nothing tells you when booking on the site So we had to find on street parking some way away.

A well decorated spacious 3rd floor room with stunning views across the bay. Helpful staff, recommended!

Great location stunning sea view

I liked the location of the hotel, perfect position for a short break to Exmouth. We were allocated a nice room which may have been recently refurbished, with a side view of the sea, everything was spotlessly clean and the bed very comfortable. Too be fair the hotel was a little dated, but we had a great stay. Reception staff were nice, but breakfast was very different unfortunately. I guess the young waitress preferred to be somewhere else on a hot sunny bank holiday!

This hotel surprised us as it was such good value! Fabulous location, clean and comfortable rooms and friendly staff! Would stay here again!

Great location, fairly clean hotel but it has seen better days. Decor and furnishings worn and faded. Hot water wasn’t working in our shower so ended up having a cold shower- we were offered another room to use the next day but we only stayed one night. Staff were amicable and breakfast was a standard full English. Definitely on the cheaper end of budget hotel.

One or two unique features: the side panel of the bath dropped down, making it difficult to get into the shower. the shower was almost scalding with no means adjustment.

We particularly liked the pleasant and helpful attitude of the staff. The room was clean and tidy

Car parking is limited & places must be found on the residential streets in the area.

Nice location clean room and nice shower only 5 mins to the town was on the 3rd floor and had a view of the sea easy check in would happy to stay again

Great location and lovely staff. Great low price, reflects the room and amenities so would stay again. Room was really clean. Some maintenance and improvements are needed to modernise a little.
