Staff friendly and helpful. The Dyson hot cold fan was brilliant. We enjoyed using the pool and steam room. Dinner in the restaurant was amazing!

WiFi is awful! It’s just really poor but free so everyone is using a system not able to cope.Also, disabled parking spaces were blocked off with building work so parking was harder than it should have been.
Breakfast was very good and staff in the restaurant each take a station and were really on it all the time so nothing ran empty and everything was hot and fresh and there were no delays. The pool was nice but the jacuzzi is colder than it should be and was fed with cold water.

Room was clean but dated. However I was bitten by bedbugs on the first night. Management had the room checked over and reckon that bed bugs were not detected. Checking a room in a couple of hours for bugs that had already had a good feed would not reveal anything. As a health care professional I was far from impressed. The bites were confirmed by my GP when I returned home. Erin in reception was amazing and supportive. Duty manager took some persuading to move me to a different room.
Hallways had worn, threadbare carpets that posed a safety risk for trips and falls.
Breakfast was acceptable. Dining room staff were lovely.

Had standard room and facilities as described, clean, couple of minor issues with condition of bathroom, but everything working. Staff welcoming and helpful, food at breakfast and dinner good. Outside of hotel needs refresh, but has nice postion by waterside.

The room we stayed in was very close to the reception.We could hear people talking loudly which disturbed our sleep in more than one occasion.A sound proof door should be there between reception and the ground rooms to minimise or eliminate the sound.We also found dump in the bedroom walls, towards the main window and the bed sheets had holes on it.

the hotel in generally is run down. our room which was supposed to be superior was nothing of the kind. it had no heating except a dyson heater which warmed the room but although slight made a noise all night.
the pillows were lumpy and thin.
the mirror which i needed was above the head board and the plug was the other side of the room so i found it hard to do my hair. if id of known i would of took a universal plug and done it in the bathroom.
the spa was tired and worn out.
breakfast was ok. wouldn’t say we were spolit for choice. been to better hotels for less money.

Toilet had discoloured brown stain when we arrived. Floor of shower had dirty stains from feet. There were cobwebs on the ceiling in toilet. The plug for toilet basin didn’t lift high enough to drain sink effectively. The room was good though. No issues. Good cleanliness otherwise.
