We have stayed at The Standard many times. This trip was an anniversary get. way. The staff are all wonderful, every person you meet is friendly and professional. We had a small problem and the duty manager Sanya went above and beyond to fix it. There can always be issues but it's how the hotel deals with it that makes a difference. The Standard is a very cool, very clean and wonderfully located hotel. There are hundreds of things to do on your doorstep. Will definitely return

My first choice when choosing a hotel in London. Staff are amazing, always make you feel welcome and that nothing is too much trouble. Have been 3 times in the last 6 months which says a lot, and will definitely be returning. So many nice bars and restaurants, and if you’re lucky enough to get a room at the front of the hotel, the views are amazing! 10/10

The room is well equipped with good amenities. However, there is no window in the room and the lights were a bit dark. On the second day, we expected housekeeping but it was not done until we requested.

ok no complimentary water in the rooms no iron or ironing board considering the price you are paying in regards to breakfast i ordered pancakes and a coffee and was charged twenty pounds for 2 very dry pancakes and a small coffee so definitely not value for money.
