Great location on lake and beautiful rooms. Celebrated our anniversary there and loved every minute. Staff was very helpful with restaurant suggestions, setting up drivers and excursions. Would go back again!

Nice room and view, which you would expect for the cost. However this is far from being a 5-star hotel. Attitude of the some of the staff is so poor (breakfast staff, front desk staff). Also watch out for hidden costs (parking is not free - €25 per day), check if your rate includes breakfast (otherwise it’s also €25 per person per day), and the beach/snack bar is chargeable too - so, again, despite the heavy cost this is not an all-inclusive experience and you are basically invisible to staff once you’ve checked in. Be warned - this hotel wants your cash and then they’re off!!

The hotel es spectacular. The staff was the most helpful when arranging a boat to come pick us up at the hotel dock. Views are incredible and the restaurant is fenomenal as well. Definitely recommend

There were multiple times they made a mistake and didn’t bill for something. Be sure to check your bill closely. Also, the restaurant wasn’t clear on a charge for a bottle of champagne for a special event. Kind of a let down at the end of a trip.

Gym Could be bigger

I was disappointed to find out that I had booked an apartment in the “residence portion” instead of booking a room at the Hotel. It was a complete oversight on my part… so pay attention to what you’re booking!!! While the apartment was clean and had a great view, it was not what I was expecting when I booked. The staff tried to accommodate my offering a hotel room for one night, however it would have been quite inconvenient for me to move multiple times. The staff at the front desk (Alicia and -Rhea and others) are beyond helpful. I made the mistake of not calling or emailing them in advance of the trip. For example I’m sure they would have suggested renting a car and/or let me knows that the only option is to take public transportation, eg crowded, hot ferries and buses or pay up $150 + for a taxi ONE WAY! This is a single most critical thing. I did not realize when booking this trip… Transportation is a mess. The hotel had a DJ one night that we enjoyed very much along with the nice stuff at the pool bar. Breakfast is served on the terrace with a nice view… and while there was quite a variety, it was my least favorite meal of the hotel. The hotel itself is in a rather remote location (we didn’t want to be surrounded by tourists). So if you like that - I highly recommend Filario especially if you stay at the hotel. The beach access is very convenient and there is a beautiful pool although we didn’t use it. The views and quiet mornings of the lake are magical.

This was a dream property and exceeded our expectations. We stayed in the junior suite which was right on the water. The private deck and plunge pool was amazing! The staff were very friendly and helpful with our questions and requests. We really enjoyed breakfast out on their terrace every morning before heading out for the day. The pizza served lake side was excellent. We would love to come back again and again.

One of the best hotels I’ve been!! Luxurious and modern, great bed and pillows and an espectacular view!!!! Totally worth it. Would stay here again if an ever come back to como.

Very clean huge rooms with breathtaking views. Super helpful staff. Lovely location. Had great parking. Perfect one stop hotel that offers all facilities including its own dock. The food was outstanding as well.

I booked a stay at this Filario Hotel, but fell we fell sick before the hotel stay. We reached out 24 hours prior to the hotel stay to see if we can switch to date ore receive a partial refund, but the hotel staff took the entire cost of the booking as they said it was nonrefundable when we booked it through expedia. We even provided a doctor's note, but they were not accommodating. The hotel staff and management were very late to respond despite multiple emails, just giving us the run around. We certainly understand it is not refundable, but they could have allowed us to switch to an alternate date when the hotel had availability. They took our money and relisted the rooms, so they made money on us when we got sick. They are not friendly or accommodating. Ultimately, it was very disappointing as we were looking forward to the visiting lake como. We would not recommend this hotel to anyone!

Room was very quiet; noticeable how quiet the aircon was. View from room over lake was amazing to wake up to as was location for breakfast. Infinity pool is large, refreshing but not cold and a great spot to watch life on the lake go by.

De locatie direct aan het Como meer is grandioos. Ook de hotelkamers hebben grote ramen en mooie balkons met uitzicht op het meer. Bedden zijn top. Een leuke beachbar en een fine dining restaurant. Wij vonden het heerlijk. Jan en Sjoukje

Our stay was lovely. If you are planning to be in the Lake Como area, but would like to avoid the hustle and bustle of Bellagio/Varenna/Como, I highly recommend Filario in Lezzeno. It’s a quieter town, with ferry and bus access to get wherever you need to be on the lake. It’s also not a bad idea to spend the day at Filario itself. Lovely private beach, excellent included breakfast, and beautiful rooms with an unbeatable view. Highly recommend!
