*Agreement
By placing a booking on any channel undoubtedly accepts the terms and condition of Travel Hub Highstreet and it shall be binding to the guest and the guesthouse throughout the stay.

*Prices
The price includes accommodation and a free breakfast.

*Confirming a booking
Passport of the guest under the booking name will be required upon check-in for scanning, guests are not allowed to check-in if fail to do so. Bookings made online may be subject to differing terms and conditions at the time of booking. This is to protect your security in carrying out the booking and providing credit card details over the internet. As for group bookings, a 50% booking deposit is required to confirm the booking. An email from the administrative department of Travel Hub Highstreet will be sent to you along with an invoice and also the banking details for the transfer. We are allowed to void any bookings necessary and a notification email will be sent to you before the date of arrival.

*Cancellation by the Guest
We are a small business, so cancellations can have a big impact on us, especially if we have turned away potential guests in favour of someone who has already booked and who then cancels. We do, however, appreciate that unforeseen circumstances can intervene, and we try to be as sympathetic and helpful as possible in such cases. In the event of a cancellation up to 24 hours before the scheduled date of arrival no charge will be made. If you cancel your reservation within 24 hours of the scheduled date of arrival a cancellation charge equivalent to the room(s) single night rate will be made. Guests failing to arrive, without notification, may be responsible for a charge equivalent to the total reservation price.

*Check-in & Check-Out Policy
Check-In Time: 2.00 PM - 12.00 AM
Check-Out Time: Before 12.00 PM

Early check-In or late-Check out is subjected to bed/room availability on a relevant day, to be reconfirmed with the front office staff. A levy is chargeable for early check-in from 7.00 AM to 12.00 PM and late check-out from 1.00 PM onwards. Room not occupied by 10.00 PM hours will be seen as No Show unless prior arrangement has been made. Upon check out, the room key has to be given back to the reception to be given back the key deposit.

*Stay Extension
To request an extension, please do so before 11.00 AM on the check-out day. Failure to do so would not guarantee you a spot. The extension is also based on availability and you will be charged the walk-in rates. Rates which are obtained from the internet in the initial booking may not be considered.

*Smoking
Smoking is not allowed in all of the rooms in the hostel. Designated areas at the bar and outside the hostel are the only permitted areas for smoking. Smoking indoors and inside rooms are subject to penalty RM 200.

*Damages and Breakages
Please take care when staying in our home. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages which you cause to the accommodation or its contents. We ask is that you do report any incidents when they occur. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we may charge you for repair or making good if the damage or breakage is significant. Eating meals in rooms is not allowed as they can leave lingering smells and can cause staining if the food comes into contact with bedding or carpets etc. Consumption of alcohol is not permitted in your rooms.

*Deposit
Deposit for keys will be collected upon check-in, RM 30 for dormitory rooms and RM 50 for private rooms. The full amount of deposit will be returned if they are no damages found or any outstanding balance.
You have access to the building and your room 24 hours a day throughout your stay using a set of keys given to you when you register on arrival. You have full responsibility for these keys for the duration of your stay. Lost keys will be charged at RM10.00 per set.

*Tourism Tax
Tourism Tax of RM 10.00 will be charged per room per night and must be collected upon check-in.

*Liability
We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course.

*Privacy Policy
Any data collected during this booking will be stored on our computer(s). With your permission, we may from time to time contact you about promotions and offers. We will not share your details with any third party

*Termination Policy
Travel Hub Highstreet reserves the right, at its discretion, to terminate, without notice, an individual’s stay where deemed necessary through unacceptable behaviour or as a result of actions which are likely to endanger or offend others (Please note that non-compliance of our non-smoking policy may constitute termination). In such circumstances any outstanding account must be settled, no refunds will be made.
