nice neighbourhood, quiet and safe. 24 euros from airport to hotel by Uber, 8 minutes walk from tram station. Very cozy bed.
But not sure it's as excellent as other 5 stars, maybe hotels are better and better equipped and decorated nowadays.

The hotel is located in a quiet part but still very central. Just a short walk to museumplein and from there maybe another 10 min to city center. Clean rooms and helpful staff. The only bad thing is the bathroom which has a sliding door. It does not fully close the entrance which is never nice, especially when you’re not traveling alone. We went down to use the bathroom in the lobby….

O hotel fica em um bairro seguro e de fácil acesso ao centro via Tram. O hotel tem instalações confortáveis, porém, reservei um quarto superior, com cama de casal, chinelos e roupão, e nos foi dado um quarto com duas camas de solteiro, sem os itens de roupão e chinelos. O café da manhã foi excelente, porém, o atendimento das recepcionistas foi hostil (pouco amistoso) em todos os momentos que solicitamos alguma explicação/informação. Inclusive chegamos pouco antes do horário do check-in, nosso quarto já estava disponível, porém, nos solicitou uma taxa extra de check-in antecipado de 35 Euros. Necessário rever e treinar a equipe de atendimento para ser mais polida e cordial com os hospedes.

at the bildeberg i was told that check in was at 3 pm. At the reception they informed me that check in was at 4. I told them that i wanted to have my room at 3 and they charged me an additional early access fee. In addition they charged me city tax. Expedia told me all was included in what i paid. In addition, i am 75 years old to access my room I had to drag my heavy luggage up several stairs to get to the room.

Rooms in need of renovation, the bathrooms are okay except very low waterpress, yet the rooms needs and update - carpets in a hotelroom is just no-go. A lot of noise from the construction site next to the hotel. The hotel staff was very friendly. Breakfast had a wide selection, yet the cheeses were too old and very dry in the edges...

The staff was great and very accommodating and let us check-in early—overall we enjoyed our stay. The place felt alright although there were some hairs on the bed upon arrival. The fridge seemed pretty gross too. Laundry was really expensive and didn’t let us do it ourselves. Free sparkling water in the lobby was a plus.
