Fantastic location. Lovely to have coffee and tea freely available all day. Comfortable room. You’ll need to be ok showering in front of others in your room as the shower is in the open. Lovely stay and lovely staff

Large comfortable rooms although the set up for one was not so user friendly - with a large banana shaped bath tub in middle - so hard to use for multiple people ( 3 teens ). Excellent coffee and tea station, kept bikes safe in courtyard, close walk to everything, would stay again.

Staff very friendly and welcoming. Quirky bar / reception and decor throughout. Fabulous location just a few minutes walk from train station and town centre. Although my room was fine it was up 4 flights of stairs with no lift which was difficult with a dodgy knee. The staff did offer to help with my bags though. (The Hotel was full so I couldn’t change room). The breakfast was plentiful, I liked that you could help yourself to tea and coffee throughout the day and there were also tea making facilities in the room. The restaurant is lovely and a shame it wasn’t busy to add to the atmosphere. My room was spacious and I slept very well. Great shower and lovely toiletries. Extra vanity sets were available at reception. The fire alarm went off in the middle of the night ( False alarm) and the staff apologised the next morning and gave me a scented candle for the inconvenience (nice touch). I will definitely stay there again but ask for a room on a lower floor!

The hotel is quite nice and the staff is very friendly. However, be aware that there is no elevator. You have to carry your bags up and down steep stairs with shorter than usual tread depth. Lighting in the room is a bit dim, so bring a flashlight. The breakfast buffet is very nice, and the chef will make you a custom omlette upon request. The freshly baked croissants are so light and flakey they almost float away. They are to die for. The location is within walking distance of many parks and restaurants.

We loved our stay here! Beautiful building and really unique colorful decor. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

I thought the Hotel was overall very good. It is very well located less than 5 minutes from Haarlem Station. You can be in Amsterdam in 15-20 minutes with no trouble. Haarlem is also a lovely town in and of itself. The room is generally well kept. The ceilings are very high and I did notice a lot of dust on the higher sections of the wall. Not a knock, but a recommendation. We had the breakfast one day and while good, we were never approached for the fresh prepared waffles/omelets offered as part of the buffet. The other options were sufficient enough, really good croissants, so I wasnt that miffed, but I thought that if its an offering, the staff really should make sure that the offer is made. Generally, it was a pleasant stay with no issues in a safe area close to everything. I would definitely stay again, but those are some observations that could improve in the future.

I the staff was very courteous and helpful. The room was lovely. Although located very close to the bus and train station it is on a quiet side street.

Great rooms

Wonderful boutique hotel in a historic building with high ceilings and a welcoming atmosphere. Room was well appointed with a fantastic bed and good shower. We had a quick dinner at the restaurant, which offers a small menu. Food was very good, as was the breakfast. Staff was very friendly and location is perfect, on a quiet street in the city center near the train station and minutes walk from plenty of restaurants. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Loved the vibe and the food.

Wij verbleven in de junior suite op de begane grond. Mooie kamer, leuk ingericht. Ik ben alleen niet zo'n fan van het 'loft concept', ik heb liever een aparte badkamer, in plaats van de douche en wc in de kamer (met duren welliswaar), maar dat is een persoonlijke voorkeur. De algehele indruk en aankleding van het hotel is dik voorelkaar en heel sfeervol. Het personeel is vriendelijk, maakt leuk contact en de service is heel goed. Een minpuntje vonden wij dat de kamer best gehorig was. Je hoorde de containers als er vuilinis werd weggegeooid, maar vervelender was voetstappen op de verdipieng boven ons en duidelijk hoorbaar als de wc boven ons werd doorgetrokken. Het is een oud gebouw met een nieuwe functie, dus daar is niet veel aan te doen. Al met al een positieve ervaring, de volgende keer slapen wij liever boven.

Absolutely loved this boutique Hotel Love the atmosphere, the decor, friendly staff, amazing interior designs. Breakfast was excellent Love the tea cappuccino maker that was available 24/7 for free. Dinner was fantastic: wonderful food with great presentation and amazing taste. This is a great property, one of a kind with a colourful and unique style. Lighting is soft and cozy. We love the bathtub and the beds and linen were top notch. Hotel is a short walk to the train station making travel simple. We will definitely be coming back as this will be our go to place in order to travel throughout Holland. Had a wonderful experience.

Unique boutique hotel. Staff was really nice and helpful. Have a coffee machine in the lobby that’s 24/7. That was nice. Hotel was very comfortable, bed was great, fab sheets and pillows and towels. They gave you robes. One complaint - the entire hotel could have been cleaner. The stairs had a stepped on cracker with lots of crumbs, it sat there for our 3 day stay. The corners of the hotel are dusty. The tables in the bar could have been wiped more. But overall I would stay here again. It’s in a quiet street a 5 min walk to train station.
