The service was fantastic. The hotel was so quiet. The staff is very attentive. Every time I ask for something it was brought to me promptly. My massage was so relaxing and calming. I appreciate it the entire experience.

This hotel is beautiful and very clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. The pool is very small and in a strange spot so not that enticing to use. The gym is very well equipped and spacious; but it was under construction partway through our visit which we did not know about ahead of time. The only issue I had with this hotel was the mattresses; they need to be replace. They are conceived and springs poke into you-it was very uncomfortable. But I cannot stress enough how wonderful the front desk staff were in helping me when I left my purse in an uber. They went above and beyond to help.

The overall stay was good. However, the room we received was not as in photo that is shared on the web sites and had a dark wood bed. The bathroom had an old-style sink and water was all over the countertop. On a positive side, the room was clean and spacious, friendly staff. Location is pretty quite, a bit far from the cafes or the main road. There is no sea view. At least not from the room that we were in. I would not say it is a 5-star hotel, but a good hotel for Business travellers and a short stay!

Breakfast buffet was excellent. Staff cordial. Bar excellent. Restaurant excellent.

Do not use the safe in this hotel. We accidentally left our passports and cash in our hotel room safe. Upon calling the hotel we were informed that our passports were found in the room but that there was no cash. We could not get answers as to how anything was retrieved. The communication was absolutely awful. I was told to write an email to the concierge which I did and he responded in writing that they had one passport. We tried calling to understand why only one passport was found but could not get an answer and no one would call us back even though they said they would. We had to drive 3 hours back to Panama City to speak with one of the directors who stated they were investigating. We were comped a room at a sister hotel and they bought us lunch. There were several hundreds of dollars in the two envelopes so while they attempted to make things; we ultimately paid for those things because our money was never returned. We also filed a police report. The investigation findings were never shared with us. Poor service for a supposedly luxury hotel.
