Schon bei der Ankunft machen das Hotel und die Anlage einen sehr gepflegten und ordentlichen Eindruck. Dieser wird beim weiteren Aufenthalt ausnahmslos bestätigt. Einen Parkplatz findet man in der näheren Umgebung schnell. Entweder man nutzt den Schotterparkplatz direkt neben dem Hotel oder man sucht in den Straßen am Hotel und findet dort im Regelfall etwas. Dies ist für etwaige Ausflüge auf der Insel stark von Vorteil. Der Empfang bei der Ankunft ist sehr freundlich, man bekommt direkt einen Willkommens-Getränk und fühlt sich direkt gut aufgehoben. Die Rezeption ist vielsprachig aufgestellt, so dass eigentlich keine Schwierigkeiten aufkommen sollten. Unser Zimmer war ordentlich ausgestattet und gepflegt. Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Das Badezimmer ist ordentlich gereinigt und auf aktuellem Standart, selbst eine Regenwasserdusche ist vorhanden. Die Reinigung des Zimmers war stets ordentlich und zufriedenstellend. Die Handtücher werden auf Wunsch täglich erneuert. Die Mahlzeiten im Restaurant sind abwechslungsreich und sehr lecker, hervorzuheben ist der sehr freundliche Service im Restaurant. Alle Kellner sind immer hilfsbereit und haben meistens ein Lächeln auf den Lippen. Hervorzuheben ist hier unteranderem Herr Santiago im hinteren Wintergarten. Seine freundliche und zuvorkommende Art und dass er stets zu Scherzen aufgelegt ist, machen jede Mahlzeit einzigartig. Alles in allem ist das Hotel Riu Gaore eine sehr gute Adresse für einen Urlaub auf Teneriffa.

We had an enjoyable 3 nights stay at the Rui Garoe. We had room 409 with a private balcony overlooking the pool. The room was a good size, clean and smart. Huge comfortable bed. Staff were all very welcoming and helpful, well kept grounds and we did hire a car and found a free parking space outside easily. The location is ideal, very quiet on the edge of town. There was a shuttle bus to town but had fewer seats than those waiting to go. We walked into town which took 20 minutes and was good exercise back uphill! - it's a nice route with lovely views of the coast. We also used local buses to get around and walk along the coast. Breakfast and Dinner were of a very high standard. Huge choice and lots of fresh fruit and vegetables. There were freshly cooked choices with daily changes. We don't normally like inclusive options, but this was a pleasant surprise. A couple of small grumbles, only because this is trying hard and very nearly a top quality hotel. To be able to use the safe in your room (that's already there) the charge is €2 per day - that's a first. The only other gripe is the complete absence of free drinking water around the hotel. Most guests bought water at the nearby convenience store. We would recommend the hotel and come to stay again.
