What a gem, so pleased we chose this hotel for my 50th celebrations. Perfect location set close to all attractions and a few minutes walk to Plaza de Espana. The hotel should have been 5 stars, staff were amazing and the hotel, pool and room were extremely clean. Breakfast was served to 10.30am weekdays and although not a huge selection, like some other hotels we’ve stayed in. Everything was covered and plenty of food for all guests. Loved the outdoor eating area. Our family room was perfect too, we are a family of three with a teen and the room set up worked well. Aircon worked well and beds were comfy. No complaints. Pool was lovely and plenty of beds/chairs for all guests. Never had any issues getting a place. The only thing we found odd, was a school would come in and use the pool at midday day for 30 mins. Although the teachers were very good in keeping the children located to the shallow end, so the guests could enjoy the deeper end. Food was nice around the pool, although would have liked to see wraps on the menu and perhaps a few more salad choices. Cocktails were a bit wishy washy, which was a little disappointing. Other drinks ok. No need to bring towels which is good, as had courtesy hotel ones. Taxis freely available outside hotel. Large supermarket close by for any snacks, although room did have a mini bar. Although as per most, was quite pricey. On day of departure, we were offered a courtesy room (for a 30 mins time slot) which was perfect.

We had a lovely big room with good bath and shower. Managed to check in early which was so grateful for as it was raining. The hotel was located a bit further out than we thought but worked for us as was quiet band we got to use the pool when the weather changed. I was a little disappointed in breakfast it was good but not quite up to the same standard of other hotels I have been in to, maybe more limited as a vegetarian. I did ask for poached eggs one day and they did do them for me.
