Perfect!
Basel is absolutely perfect for a weekend trip. The hotel was positioned just over the road from the main train station, bus from the airport arrives and departs in the same area. Basel card is included with stay so public transport is free! Also easily walkable to main areas.
Checkin easy. We used the adjoining hotel reception as we had a late flight but this was no issue and there’s an option to check in electronically.
Luggage store room.
Room basic but clean and had everything we needed.

離火車站很近，交通方便，樓下是星巴克。服務人員友好。設施雖然不新但乾淨、房間大。唯一缺點是要爬樓梯到櫃檯check in, 行李多又重的話會有一點辛苦。

I am glad to stay at Hotel Metropol Base. It's locating so convenient and just 5 mins walk to the SBB train station and the bus stop for Euro Airport. Meanwhile, I would like to thank to Hennadii and his great help. He is so attentive and helpful. He gives us good advices to travel the city and also responds our queries in details.

We received free Zurich cards when we checked in which was a huge bonus. The front desk staff was nice. Location was great. The only complaint we had was that it was SO HOT in the room. They had over-compensated for the temperature outside. Even the floor was hot in some spots to walk on barefoot.
