This hotel was brilliant, fulfilling our requirements. The pool was amazing set by the Nile and the staff were really friendly both around the amenities and in the hotel itself. The downside was the rooms are a little tried and a refresher should bring it up to western levels. It is also a little further out of Luxor, making it challenging to escape the offers of taxis and horse carts, when walking into the centre.

This is a poor hotel overall. On the plus side, the gardens and pool area are pleasant and the Nile side seating delightful. On the negatives the rooms are very tired and ours was poorly cleaned and a broken but still live electric light, broken curtain, non working safe, dirty fridge and no plug for the sink. We had to chase housekeeping to get basic cleaning and some towels. The food at breakfast was poor quality mass catering. We didn't eat at the restaraunts as we heard people complaining about them several times. I wouldn't book here again. Avoid.

Pyramisa Hotel Luxor offers a pleasant stay overall, especially thanks to its excellent location and stunning views of the Nile River. Waking up to the river views is definitely a highlight and adds a lot to the experience. The hotel is well-situated, making it convenient for exploring Luxor. The staff are friendly and welcoming, which contributes positively to the stay. The breakfast setup is particularly enjoyable, with a great dining location and a good selection of food. However, there are some notable drawbacks. The WiFi connectivity in the rooms is poor and unreliable, which can be frustrating. The rooms themselves feel quite dated, with signs of wear and maintenance issues. In particular, some door locks were not functioning properly, which raises concerns about safety. The bathrooms also need better upkeep, as cleanliness was not up to standard. Overall, it’s a decent hotel with strong positives in location, views, and staff, but improvements in room maintenance and facilities would significantly enhance the experience.

This is a 3 star hotel NOT a 4 star as rated. Not much variety of food during breakfast or dinner, repeated items. Rooms are basic and small. There is no internet available in the rooms, which was very annoying. The only positive thing l can say about this hotel, is that our room had a Nile view. Staff there could hardly speak English.

I was deeply disappointed by my experience at this hotel, particularly regarding the service and room conditions. The lobby experience was frustrating; not only was the staff unsupportive when I requested small change, but the exchange rate offered was predatory. I was offered only 2,000 EGP for $50 USD, which is nearly 400 EGP less than the official bank rate. The room itself was in a state of neglect. The property is very dated, featuring worn-out and half-broken furniture that makes the stay feel unmaintained. My experience was further marred by several hygiene and infrastructure issues: Sanitation Concerns: There was a persistent musty smell coming from the shower water, and the bed sheets were clearly stained upon arrival. Pest Issues: I was shocked to find small bugs appearing on the bed, which is completely unacceptable. Poor Connectivity: Despite being a major hotel, the Wi-Fi does not function in the rooms at all; it is only available in the lobby, which is highly inconvenient for modern travelers. I would strongly advise travelers to look elsewhere for better value and more hygienic accommodations in the area
