TV was not working- technician came & it was sorted after half an hour but I missed East enders. Again in the morning it was not working and the technician did not start till 8am and by that time I had to checkout to go to work.The bathroom wash basin was very dirty and the water cattle inside was not clean either, I had a sore throat the next day

It was basic but for the price I paid i was expecting that. It waa comfortable and the shower was amazing!!! Usually you dont have much room in a hotel shower but it was huge and so easy to change the temerpature which isnt always easy to do. Overall, i would stay here again.

Ideally situated, convenient for Rail and City Centre. Good breakfast. Staff helpful. Only niggle is siting of soap dispenser in shower. Too high to expel liquid into hand

Stayed previously and have never had any issues. Shower made horrible loud noise when hot water kicked in and was kept awake by noise from other guests most of the night

I cannot fault the staff, the rooms or the attention to detail at all. My overall rating was unfortunately due to the fire alarm going off at 0130 this morning, due to a fault. It made for quite a disturbed nights sleep.

Wash basin drain opener needs to be fixed for proper drainage.

Staff pleasant and helpful throughout our stay. Hotel slightly dated but clean and well equipped, certainly adequate for our stay.

The room was good. The power plug near the bed was broken. The bathroom was clean, but they could have cleaned the floor a bit better. There were some signs of wear and tear in it and in the lift as well. The bed was comfy.

Below average basic hotel. Hallway smelt of marijuana. Staff were rude on arrival.

The hotel is in a good position , being close to train station and then the outdoor high street. A short walk to the nicer Oracle. At night it was very noisy,, also I wouldn’t have felt safe on my own around as lots of undesirables lurking. Although room was comfortable enough it’s all quite basic. The bathroom especially needs updating. It’s a pod and the door creaked so much to shower. Not much room in there at all and especially to put a shower bag. Staff are very friendly and welcoming and we were allowed to book in early and also got free drinks for becoming members. Very nice touch.

Cosy room, warm and amenable. Everything is just in its place. Selection of teas was great and the pizza from the bar was amazing in an epic way. Thank you.

Very close to the train station and center of town.

Staff in the breakfast bar were helpful and friendly. The hotel is dated and worn out. The reception is faux-industrial, that is, the roof tiles taken out, everything painted black and effect coming from the exposed air ducts and wiring. In the room, the laminate is peeling off the chipboard fittings, with piles of wood dust below the desk, presumably from where others had kicked the back of the covered wall whilst sitting there. The black laminated floor in the room was swept but unwashed. Bed covers were clean but the headboard worn and the mattress is shallow and uncomfortable. There is a pod bathroom in the room into which you step up into. It was worn and dated. The theme seemed to be pitched at Reading Festival goers. Even the wash soaps. Not a comfortable business hotel. It’s not cheap.

Extremely clean and very comfortable, staff were polite and very helpful always willing to assist and made my stay very enjoyable and easy.
