Good and modern place to stay. Wish I had a refrigerator in the room.

オーバーブッキングで系列の別ホテルに案内された。そのホテルはロケーション、バス、夕食が劣悪だった。こちらのホテルは宿泊していないので設備等は評価しようがないが、対応の様子から見てオーバーブッキングは日常的に起きている可能性がある。予約システムに問題があるのではないか。

レディング駅から徒歩で行ける場所で、周りには多くのレストランやパブが有りとても便利。徒歩で行けるショッピングモールやデパート等お買い物にも便利で楽しい。ホテルのスタッフはフレンドりー、ロビーでノンビリ出来る雰囲気。お部屋もベッドも清潔。但し、排水口からの臭いが少々気になり、水を注いで対処した。最初に案内されたお部屋はフローリングで、一泊過ごしてカーペットの部屋に変えて貰った。フローリングの部屋は音が響き渡り、隣室の音も気になるが、自分で出す音も気になる位なので、連泊は厳しい。部屋を変えて欲しいという申し出にも気軽に応じてくれて、荷物を取りに行っているうちに新たな部屋が用意され、直ぐに移る事が出来たのは有難かった。アメニティでは、頭から身体まで洗える洗剤が一つ有るだけ。タオルはバスタオルだけで、ハンドタオルが無いのが少々不便。シャワーは温水がしっかり出るし、ハンドタイプなのが良かった。 地理的な利便性、安心、清潔等、節約型の旅行にはとっても快適なホテルでした。

Excellent all round

Unfortunately my stay was marred by a disgusting smell of sewage in room 1003. This seemed to come from the bathroom drains and was most pungent in the evening and early the next morning. Possibly a problem with the hotel plumbing system. No one wants to smell it when other guests go to the toilet. The lady on reception was apologetic and moved me to a different room without issue. However, this problem resulted in a bad experience overall.

No air conditioning and not alot of variety on tv as wifi wasnt working

Bed a bit hard and the shower was lukewarm. Otherwise acceptable.

Located in a very central area of Reading which was convenient however room was very basic. There was no hand towel in the bathroom and the curtains were all stained. No one on reception when I arrived so had to wait for staff to check in. Novotel next door is so much nicer considering the two hotels are intertwined

Convenient location near the train station and the high street. Good value for money.

Great value hotel

A simple one night stay at a no frills hotel but staff really friendly. Room clean & comfy with coffee & tea making facilities. Tv with basic channels. Overall a good stray.

Most of my stay was fine for the night that I stayed at the hotel the main issue I had was in the morning when I tried to shower the water wasn’t very warm and in patches it heated up then went very cold while showering. I feel this wasn’t the best way to start my day if am honest

Good hotel, close to station. Decent options for food and drink nearby as well.

Very pleasant stay. The staff at reception were extremely friendly and helpful.

Functional. Clean. Simple. Convenient. Four nights no problems. Great location for the railway station and the town centre.
