オーバーブッキングで系列の別ホテルに案内された。そのホテルはロケーション、バス、夕食が劣悪だった。こちらのホテルは宿泊していないので設備等は評価しようがないが、対応の様子から見てオーバーブッキングは日常的に起きている可能性がある。予約システムに問題があるのではないか。

Unfortunately reception had difficulty in finding the reservation!
Also the lifts were unserviceable causing us to miss a rail connection

Boa ewtadia em Reading. E o padrao Ibis : um quarto pequeno , porem confortavel. Tipico padrao internacional Ibis . TV , ar condicionado , banheiro privativo. Sem muito luxo porem pratico e limpo.

Ascenseur en panne depuis plusieurs semaines (séjour déjà en mai 2025) et toujours pas réparé, il faut parfois attendre pres de 10mn pour pouvoir accéder au seul ascenseur disponible , cartes d'acces aux chambres qui se démagnétisent en permanence obligeant de repasser à la réception quotidiennement. 2 problèmes à régler de toute urgence

As I arrived at the Ibis, they were welcoming. Their greeting was flawless. The service was amazing. Any questions that I’ll ask it would be answered. The staff is amazing. Breakfast was really good. The women that were doing the breakfast were amazing. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I would stay here as well.

Needed a stopover in reading. This hotel was v convenient for the rail station, was clean and comfortable with no frills. Good breakfast and excellent value for money

Very satisfactory- room clean and a good size. Comfortable bed. One of the lifts was not working so that slowed things down but hotel is located very close to the railway station so easy to walk there and to the large pedestrian area of Reading
