This hotel is located in a very nice neighborhood. Walking distances to plenty of restaurants and good location if you are planning to do some shopping. The restaurant at the hotel was very good too. My only complaint I have is that the front desk guy seemed a bit discriminating. I was waiting for my driver in the lobby with my family and 3 luggage’s and there was also another lady with the 2 luggages waiting. When her ride got there he got up and opened the door for her and helped her with her luggage’s. He wss super nice and helpful to her and when our driver got there he saw that I was struggling to open the door and trying to take 2 of my luggage’s, my wife was struggling with hers too and my sons backpack and he didn’t even bother to hold the door or even leave his stand. I don’t need him to baby us like the other lady but he should be fair and at least hold the door. He was a darker guy maybe early 30’s (not British) . Other than that the hotel is beautiful and all the staff is awesome.

Property is dated and in need of refresh. Carpets in common staircase and in room are stained/dirty. No mini fridge in room. After hours the main entrance is closed, with the notice of the alternate entrance posted in the dark behind the glass doors that is illegible.

Nice hotel and well situated for the Chelsea Hospital concerts. Room was small, but with good bathroom and amenities. Breakfast was excellent. Staff all friendly, but only one person dealing with check-ins at 15.00, when several people arrived, and he seemed to be using a very slow computer system to get us all checked in... We enjoyed the stay, but at £395 a night for B & B, it felt overpriced and not great VFM.

Booked a King Suite for 3 nights. Location was excellent. The lobby was very basic. Our room was clean but had dated furniture- sofa cushions were quite uneven, and it had stains and a tear. The room could use an upgrade to look like the photos online.

I recently stayed at Sloane Place Hotel in London and found it to be an excellent option for a short stay. For travelers who prefer a boutique hotel experience over a hostel, this is a great alternative. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing everything needed for a pleasant stay. While the hotel does not offer amenities such as a gym or spa, guests who want access to fitness facilities can easily purchase a day pass at one of the nearby gyms. One of the hotel’s biggest advantages is its location. Situated in a prime area of London, it provides easy access to public transportation, restaurants, shopping, and many of the city’s top attractions. Overall, Sloane Place Hotel offers a comfortable and convenient stay in an excellent location. If you’re looking for a clean, stylish place to stay without the hostel atmosphere, I would definitely recommend it and would happily stay here again.

Our second time staying here and, to be honest, although the stay was fine, a few things which disappointed; 1) the bar was shut early (by 6pm) most evenings; 2) breakfast (we didn’t have included, but paid for on one day, was poorly presented and expensive as every item/dish was separate on the menu (how is toast not included with a full English!?); 3) pillows were of poor quality and, disappointingly, grubby inside the cases and 4) reception/concierge staff were polite but had little/no knowledge of local amenities/restaurants etc. as “they weren’t local” - my wife even ended up trying to help a recently arrived elderly US visitor who wanted to get a “Full English” breakfast experience locally and the receptionist couldn’t/wouldn’t help! Overall we left a little disappointed with our experience this time and generally felt that although the hotel wanted to be ‘good’ it lacked detail and a bit of a personal/independent touch. N.B. the new (separate) cafe is a nice development and staff in there were very good, but a little strange re the laptop ‘thing’ after 10.30am! Hopefully this feedback is constructive and useful.
