We felt incredibly lucky to find The Orchard Hotel after a terrible experience at another local property forced us to move out late in the evening. It turned out to be an absolute blessing in disguise, and this will absolutely be our hotel of choice for all our family visits to Nottingham from now on. From the moment we arrived, we loved everything about it. The cleanliness was absolutely spotless, and the overall style and design of the hotel are beautiful and contemporary. The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming, which was exactly what we needed after a stressful evening. To top it off, the breakfast was fantastic. The only minor downside is that we would have loved for the swimming pool to be located directly within the hotel itself rather than over at the sports centre, but it didn't take away from an otherwise wonderful stay. Thank you to the team for turning our weekend around, we can’t wait to come back!

Hotel had overbooked and our room was not available (despite being booked nearly 6 months in advance and paid for). The explanation "We have given YOUR room to someone else by mistake". A few amazing members of staff let down by some truly incompetent senior managers. Take care when booking and don't be the last ones to arrive.
