Hotel had overbooked and our room was not available (despite being booked nearly 6 months in advance and paid for). The explanation "We have given YOUR room to someone else by mistake". A few amazing members of staff let down by some truly incompetent senior managers. Take care when booking and don't be the last ones to arrive.

We always choose to stay at Orchard Hotel when we stay at Nottingham as it provides a lovely peaceful atmosphere conveniently located a short cab journey from the City

Breakfast was excellent great variety of food on offer catering for all tastes. Parking on arrival at the EV charging points was easy and made easier as we had already downloaded the Monta app. Plugging in to start the charge proved a little more difficult but we got there eventually!! Standard of room was very pleasing. Great sized bed and brew making facilities. Bathroom was clean and the walk in shower was an unexpected bonus. The dining experience in the evening was super. From arriving at the front of house to being seated. We both enjoyed the food ordered and with it being my wife’s birthday the Apple dessert was a great offering! I cannot enthuse enough regarding your staff. They were polite pleasant and professional at all instances when engaged. I would thoroughly recommend your establishment to anyone and should we return to Nottingham we would look to repeat our stay at the Orchard Park.

I was 10 minutes away from the hotel when a staff member called me to say that you were overbooked, so the room I had booked more than 3 weeks previously, was no longer available. I was offered a room in a manor house nearby. But that had no reception, and no restaurant. Without any hotel staff at that property, it did not feel safe for a lone traveller. When I arrived at the hotel, and spoke to the staff, the lady I dealt with said that a hotel in the city centre had a room available. This was not ideal, as the event I was attending was cross the road from the hotel I had booked, which is why I booked it. The city centre hotel was a 15 minute drive away. I was told that the overbooking was due to a system error. I can't help thinking it was to cover the possibility that bookings might be cancelled, but none were. When I booked there was good availability, and I know that this only changed late in the week preceding my weekend booking, because I checked on the Friday to see if the room price had dropped - it was showing as sold out. If I had known I would not be able to stay at the hotel, I would not have booked a hotel at all, and would have travelled up for the event on the day. Booking the hotel was meant to provide a relaxing evening and morning before the afternoon event. It was quite the opposite with having to find my way to the city centre hotel, and back again. The only reason I ended up accepting the city centre htoel was because the staff member at the Orchard

Lovely location, slightly outside of city centre but being on the university grounds is lovely and quiet. The accommodation is amazing value too, lovely bar area and self serve check in was a dream.

My recent stay at The Orchard Hotel in Nottingham was exceptional in every sense. Having stayed here before and enjoyed such a fantastic experience, I chose to return — and once again, it proved to be the right decision. When travelling, the hotel you choose matters. A superb hotel adds greatly to your day, gives you confidence, and helps you deliver successfully in your tasks. The Orchard does exactly that. The staff were outstanding — attentive, professional, and genuinely willing to go above and beyond when needed. In some hotels, service can feel divided, but here I felt fully valued and looked after throughout my stay. The room was excellent and felt like a real upgrade from my previous visit — spacious, comfortable, and finished to a very high standard. The food was also amazing: beautifully presented, carefully prepared, and of excellent quality. Everything — the staff, the location, the food, and the room — was exceptional. Although there was some noise from the room next door, it did not take away from what was otherwise an excellent stay. I highly recommend The Orchard Hotel to anyone visiting Nottingham. Quick trip but would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great location

Hotel was lovely and the beds were comfortable. Really pleasant staff and would recommend the hotel. However wasn’t a fan of 5 WhatsApp messages plus Expedia messages from them think it was a bit too much. Apart from that everything else was great

We were extremely happy with our stay - excellent facilities, convenient parking, a clean, well-presented bedroom. But best of all were the staff with special mention to Erinda on Reception, who really looked after us and was delightful; and Zizi who was in charge of the breakfast room and also looked after us. For all of this the price seemed very reasonable. Very happy and will definitely stay here again.
