We requested a room with a view and ended up with a room facing an air conditioner, and a wall and the staircase. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. Service was poor and not very helpful.

This is an excellent hotel if you’re wanting to see the Acropolis as it’s right around the corner. The staff were extremely helpful and my room was clean and comfortable, although there was no view from the window. The restaurant on the top floor is very good and you get a superb view of the Acropolis. This is particularly lovely at night, but also great in the morning as breakfast is served here.

The breakfast was good, with acropolis view from rooftop restaurant - greek options as well as regular fare. Good special coffees which makes up for the instant coffee available in rooms. Outside hotel area looks unkept - not a great first impression, however the lobby is lovely. Room was bland in decor - but adequate. Air conditioning, fridge in working order. Quiet for sleeping. Staff interactions were friendly and helpful!

Pros: Number one is location. You can't beat this. Walking distance to Acropolis, all Plaka, shopping, metro, Expedia activities meeting points. Second is breakfast, excellent viraety, fresh, tasty with the view of Acropolis! Third is helpful staff. Cons: room was just ok, bed is ok, so are pillows and blankets. Very basic. 3 star hotel level, no more. But pros for us were worth it and we would stay again here.
