Great location. Very good view on the rooftop and nice breakfast. The staffs are nice. The room is clean ,and it is easy to take a taxi or walk to acropolis from here.

Excellent location helpful staff and provided a shuttle to the airport that was very convenient. Elevator was small and busy.

Had a comlimentary bottle of wine in our room as we were celebrating 40th anniversary!

Everyone that worked there worked so hard! I felt everyone was gracious, helpful, professional and friendly. We felt very comfortable. The breakfast was great. The views were great. Super convenient location. Would recommend.

The staff at this hotel was great. I’d already booked a private transport when I was notified by guest services that they could arrange that for me. From the time we got there until we left, we were treated like royalty. The hotel is an easy walk to Plaka (even though we are mobility impaired) and eating choices are plentiful. We have another trip booked for next year. 🙂

Very nice hotel. Perfect location.

The area is perfect for shopping and dining. The hotel dining area has a gorgeous view of the Acropolis.

We have stayed at this hotel 3 times prior because of its great location and competitive rates. We booked 3 nights prior and 3 nights at the end of an 11 day cruise for my 35th wedding anniversary. I had requested an Acropolis view room on each occasion and have NEVER gotten one,despite the fact that my brother in law got a great upper level Acropolis view on his very 1st stay !! The cruise arrived 3 hours early so I requested an early check-in after arriving at 9:30 telling them that we had 1pm massage appointments and needed to take showers prior so anything they could do would be great, fully knowing that check out times are 11am. They said they couldn’t promise it but would see what they could do. We went to breakfast and shopping on the Plaka until11:45, returning to the hotel just before noon. Still no rooms abainlbake they said!!! I truly found the unbelievable. We went to the massage appointments and got back at 2:48 and much to our surprise, our rooms were still NOT READY !!! This was totally unacceptable, yet bit my tongue. Finally our room was ready at 3:39 (despite check in stated as 3pm ) Again, a non Acropolis view room. Needless to say you have lost my yearly weekly stay in Athens as well as my families 27 person destination wedding stay in 2027. I will make it my point to tell all my airline employee friend s to stay elsewhere while visiting Athens. Truly bummed because we loved our original stays.

The staff was very friendly. The restaurant views and quality of the meal was excellent, however, the hotel itself needs serious updating. Only one of two elevators was working, causing long delays in transporting luggage to and from the rooms.The hotel seems to cater to large tour groups, making it feel extremely crowded both in the lobby and in the restaurant.

Breakfast was cold. Several things in our room were broken. Didn't get our upgrade.

The hotel was extremely clean, always a primary concern for me. The location was perfect, an easy walk to the Plaka area and the Acropolis Museum. The continental breakfast was very nice and the dining room had a great view.

We had a fabulous stay at the Athens Gate Hotel. Reception staff were very helpful, rooms very clean & comfortable. A large selection for self serve breakfast. Roof top bar/restaurant has an excellent view of the acropolis. We booked a room over looking the Temple of Zeus. Bit of noisy traffic, but you are in the centre of Athens so didn’t bother us & the bed was so comfy. It’s a great location, short walks for sights, shops & restaurants.
