Athens Gate Hotel

All good and was fine to arrive early we got a great welcome here. Tidy, great views and marvellous location. Walked to local sites/ cafes and metro. Lovely people worked here !

our stay at this hotel was amazing! the room was so clean and beautiful. the view from our room was amazing as well as the view from breakfast. i could’ve sat there forever. i highly recommend staying here! the staff are so friendly and so helpful. we really had a great stay

Amazing staff and hotel views

The hotel was amazing!! Staff very helpful and Dimitri’s the valet porter was fabulous. The lady at breakfast was fabulous. There was a gas problem and they couldn’t make breakfast and she held it all together to make everyone happy making cappuccinos and Americanos.

The Athens Gate Hotel is located in a perfect walking distance from the downtown core! It has an amazing rooftop restaurant with views of the Acropolis. Breakfast is included and it had a very good selection of food! The staff were very friendly and professional and the room and bathroom were very clean!

The staff were so nice. They held our bags while we went on a tour before we even checked in. The amazing breakfast location on the rooftop was incredible. The breakfast was delicious. Really enjoyed the yogurt with the honey and the honeycomb set up. That was really fun. We had dinner there too. I would say the dinner was a bit overpriced and not as much food as you would normally get if you were just buying dinner someplace else, but the location the sunset and the rooftop was amazing. The actual room was fine. Our room was near an elevator, but we didn’t hear it so that was good and the beds. The bed was comfortable. We did have a terrace. You couldn’t use the terrace. It was way too loud. It’s on a very, very very busy street and there was no furniture to sit out on anyway I probably wouldn’t have used the terrace due to the noise and the amount of traffic but otherwise slept great. The staff was amazing and it was a great place to stay very very good location and really enjoyed our stay.

Convenient location close to the Acropolis, Botanical Gardens, Parliament restaurants and shopping. Rooms were clean and modern.

We requested a room with a view and ended up with a room facing an air conditioner, and a wall and the staircase. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. Service was poor and not very helpful.

Location!! View over the top!! Water out on last day not hotel issue was a city issue. Good outlets in the room. Blow dryer could be better. Breakfast was good, great view. Shout out to Pinot!!

Great location and clean hotel. Very nice rooftop restaurant with great views. Elevators are tiny so can be a bit of a wait with luggage.

I was very happy with the hotel, particularly the rooftop restaurant and the buffet breakfast was excellent. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful.

This is an excellent hotel if you’re wanting to see the Acropolis as it’s right around the corner. The staff were extremely helpful and my room was clean and comfortable, although there was no view from the window. The restaurant on the top floor is very good and you get a superb view of the Acropolis. This is particularly lovely at night, but also great in the morning as breakfast is served here.

Two night stay. Decent price and place overall.

The view is beautiful and was please to walk a short distant to your rooftop from the view to enjoy the view
