A perfect, peaceful stay in Jakarta. I recently stayed at the Millennium Hotel Sirih Jakarta for a vacation with my two kids. We had a wonderful experience. The hotel is very clean, and we loved the pleasant ambiance and the exceptional hospitality from the staff. Our night was so calm and quiet, which was exactly what we needed to unwind. Great experience to stay at BW Express, didn’t feel like an express hotel which commonly only provide small room and average food. Surprisingly BW Espress’ room is spacious and super clean! The lobby, corridor, everything is just neat and clean, just love it. Hotel’s location is very strategic as well. Unfortunately only 1 elevator in operation, seems the other was under maintenance.
BW Express would definitely become my first option to stay at central Jakarta next time, keep up the good work 💕

For on a budget traveller and wants a place to put his head to sleep, it's more than enough. The room & bathroom is clean. They provide basic amenities of towel, toothpaste n brush, bottled water. Hot water can be obtained at the common filtered water place.
I requested for iron and it was sent within 10 minutes with the board. Also got late check out until 1 pm without further payments. Breakfast spread was okay & enough to fill d tummy for a day out. I love the daily ginger tea. Staff was gracious.
Location was great for me as shopper. The hotel is above the Thamrin City Mall with many local vendors selling local product of clothes etc. It's walking distance to Grand Indonesia and Plaza Indonesia. For a mere rupiah, Grab took me to Sarinah Mall and Djkarta Theater XXI (cinema) about 2km away.

Been to Jakarta a few times for work, and Holiday Inn Express Wahid Hasyim has been my go-to spot when I need something quick, clean, and well-located.
The hotel isn’t trying to be flashy, but that’s what I like about it — it’s practical. You check in, get your room, and settle in fast. No fuss. The staff are friendly and helpful, and that helps a lot, especially bila sampai penat after meetings or flight delay.
Location wise, memang best. Right in the middle of town — jalan kaki je to Sarinah, Grand Indonesia, cafes, even MRT. Kalau you’re the type who wants to mix business and chill time, this area really works.
Room dia compact but well-thought-out. Bed comfortable, shower okay, Wi-Fi stable — all the basics covered. And I appreciate the Express Breakfast — nothing over the top, but ada nasi goreng, eggs, kopi… cukup to start the day.
Overall, for a short business trip or even a quick staycation, this hotel delivers. No drama, no nonsense. Just a solid, reliable place that does what it promises.
