I always stay here when I need something in Balikpapan. The hotel area is close to ATMs, coffee shops, bakeries, restaurants, minimarkets, family massage parlors, and is close to the main road, making it easy to access public transportation and online services. I've actually stayed at Novotel several times, but this was my first time with my family. Thank God, it was a very pleasant experience. Friendly service, spacious rooms, and well-functioning facilities. Finding food at night is also easy because it's close to Bekapai Park and several other cafes within a radius of less than 500 meters. In the morning, breakfast was delicious. Novotel's strengths are definitely its delicious breakfast and diverse menu options, from Western to Eastern to Indonesian. The only downside is the gym access, as it's currently under renovation, hehe. Hopefully, next time I come here, I'll be able to use all the facilities.

My first and very pleasant experience, the photos match the condition of the room. The room was clean, the AC was cold, the water was clean. Bottled water, tea, sugar, coffee, and creamer were always refilled every day. Towels and mats were always replaced with clean ones every day. I don't regret staying 7 nights here. The restaurant is luxurious, the food is delicious and complete, I gained weight 😂. I really like it here. The staff are friendly and polite. In the room there is a TV with Netflix service, making the kids feel at home in the room. Top markotop 🥰. Thank you Grand Jatra Hotel Balikpapan. A pleasant and unforgettable experience.

Overall Everything is great, Upon arrival the security greeted us with friendliness then assisted by the reception staff the check in process was fast without any hassle, the breakfast was varied and delicious. The cozyness of this hotel with the friendliness of the staff makes the aura of this hotel come alive and cheerful, thank you Mr. Rafli the receptionist for his 5 star hospitality with jokes during check in making the feeling of tiredness immediately disappear plus the calm and cozy atmosphere of the room. have stayed 3 times and the staff are consistent with their friendliness and will be a regular every time I go to Balikpapan!
