We just spent a lovely weekend at Kontena Hotel and had such a great experience ✨, especially as a family with a young child.
The hotel has a unique container-style design that’s both stylish and Instagram-worthy, but what stood out the most for us was how kids-friendly it is. Our daughter absolutely loved joining the cooking class where she decorated her own donuts! 🍩 She got to choose the toppings herself and proudly brought home her sweet creations.

Staffs are very helpful and polite, the room is clean and spacious (stayed at family suite for 4 pax). The location is not far from the train station, hospital, toll gate Pandaan, and oleh-oleh center in Sanan. Will definitely come back here next time we visit Malang!

wonderful experience ever! this hotel was so lit! they have a super affordable food in ther cafe, and we can buy our snacks in minimarket below the hotel! need meals? it's so near to every resto we have also you can just go to their cafe lounge upstairs! you can also enjoy the city lighy of batu! (this is a photo of my meals last time, i got fried rice n ice tea for only 15k in that size, nyam 😋)
they've upgraded the servuce by added tootbrush to their bathroom (cuz there's a review told us they don't provide it before)
no need to be worried about soundproof. well maybe lot of people worried abt that, but it's not really is a big matter. we can't hear our nearest neighbour convo and loud sound from outside, but if we dropped our things on floor/table, our nearest neighbour def will hear that one.. so be carefull and keep your voice in low to medium volume! well.. cons in the room only cuz they don't have netflix on tv and hanger in their room (idk if that one is by request or not 💁🏻♀️)
also this place near to anywhere, lippo batu, ☆bucks, any resto, dessert store, alun" batu, and any holiday spots! do if you do looking for affordable room, you should stay here for once! have a nice day!

The staff were all very friendly. The downstairs restaurant is very spacious and has excellent air circulation. The upstairs restaurant offers comfort and a great view. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, with excellent air circulation. The hotel's open-space design provides a sense of spaciousness and air circulation. Really really comfortable hotel, I plan to come back to stay here. Everything is perfect, staff, room, breakfast, service, everything deserves a plus point. I went down to lobby in the midnight, around 12.30 AM to ask for pizza to be heated, and the staff immediately helped me. I recommend this hotel for those who want to refresh their brains and get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Good luck!
