We stayed for one night because we wanted easy access to Istora as we participated in the Jakarta Running Festival. For dinner, we ordered Sop Buntut and it tasted so great, we finished to the last sip. We love the comfort of the bed, and the linens look new. We wish to have another staycation soon.

Stayed at W Home Benhil for a quick city break, and it was a comfortable, no-fuss experience. The room was clean and cozy, with Netflix-ready TV, good AC, and hot water, perfect for unwinding after a day in Central Jakarta. The location’s great too, just a short ride to GBK or Senayan area, making it easy if you’re attending events nearby. For on a budget traveller and wants a place to put his head to sleep, it's more than enough. The room & bathroom is clean. They provide basic amenities of towel, toothpaste n brush, bottled water. Hot water can be obtained at the common filtered water place.
I requested for iron and it was sent within 10 minutes with the board. Also got late check out until 1 pm without further payments. Breakfast spread was okay & enough to fill d tummy for a day out. I love the daily ginger tea. Staff was gracious.
Location was great for me as shopper. The hotel is above the Thamrin City Mall with many local vendors selling local product of clothes etc. It's walking distance to Grand Indonesia and Plaza Indonesia. For a mere rupiah, Grab took me to Sarinah Mall and Djkarta Theater XXI (cinema) about 2km away.

Mega Anggrek Hotel Jakarta Slipi

Urbanest Inn House Slipi
The place is easy to find on map, but it's in a small alley (the portal will be closed at 12 pm) and there is no signboard. The bedroom is quite unique because it's small and the bed is above the bathroom, there is a wooden staircase which is quite noisy when we go up. If you are on the 1st or 2nd floor, you will hear a sound from above your room when people climb the stairs or just move the chairs. There are 2 small mineral water bottles (but there's a dispenser at pantry), a couple of towel, 1 tooth brush, 1 shower gel but no shampoo. The water heater works well on the bathroom. The staffs are so friendly and the pool is so clean! I was lucky because there's not many guest there, so no need to be caught on crowd. And the smoking area is on the garden.
