Hotel, good location, polite staff, very good service, speak good English Easy to get to from Kansai Airport. It's recommended that take a bus to get off at OCAT, not far away. Drag the luggage to the hotel. It's more convenient than coming to the train to get down to Namba because it is out at the 25th gate. Will definitely sleep in this hotel. There are beverages, coffee, soft drinks, soups throughout, along with massage chairs. The bedroom is spacious, clean, new, has a washing machine and tumble dryer. On the back notice, a car is delivered. In addition, the staff brought the luggage to the car again. Very impressed. Suggest to sleep, this hotel is not disappointed.

I had the most pleasant stay here. The hotel went the extra miles to cater my family's needs. It was our first time in japan and they replied each emails with extra care. While it is only a 3-star hotel, we really felt like we were staying at a 5-star hotel. I really love minibar at the lobby. Room was very spacious. It had different room for shower, wastafel, and toilet. Location was nearby dotombori, it was 10-15 mins walk to nearby train station. I booked in a room for 4 people & would love to come back here again.

We chose this hotel because it had a room option with three beds. My wife and I traveling with our teen son. Upon arrival they put us in a room with 2 queen beds. A welcome upgrade for sure. The hotel is easy access to Osaka station which was easy to figure out after a couple of days. Dōtonbori was crazy with people. I found that some of the easiest and best places to eat, away from the madness was in the train station itself. The lobby of the hotel had tables, with table ware and complimentary drinks so it was easy to bring food back to the hotel and have a calm place to eat. The people are all very gracious and helpful. We really enjoyed our time in Osaka and our accommodation is a large part of the reason why.

Hotel 88 Shinsaibashi is a fabulous hotel. We had two consecutive bookings in a triple then two twin rooms. The rooms were spacious, beds very comfortable and with nice extra touches - lots of powerpoints and USB ports, Dyson hairdryer, bottled water. Checking in was a breeze, the reception staff are extremely helpful and all speak fluent English. The availability of the lounge with free drinks anytime was also grestly appreciated after a long day of touring. Very highly recommended, one of the best hotels we've stayed in.

We stayed at six hotels during our 2 week stay in Japan, and Hotel 88 was the best. One of the managers is American, and he was incredibly helpful and kind. In fact, every employee at every hotel was polite and friendly. But since I know little Japanese and have trouble with accents, it was great to have a native speaker. The room was great. Two king sized beds—one in its own bedroom. All other hotels crammed 4 twin beds in one room. Also the beds had outlets on each side. We had an issue finding outlets at the head of the bed at the other hotels. The room had a real Keurig-type coffeemaker. The hotel is walking distance to Dotonbori and its Time Square-like atmosphere. And as is true with all hotels we stayed in — it has a Lawson’s a couple blocks away.

We booked a family room and it is spacious enough to have all 6 of our suitcases opened at the same time with plenty of room left. There are also massage chairs and a eating/chatting area with a pool table in the lobby. Will definitely book this hotel if we stay in this area again.

Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a spacious room near Dotonbori. It’s in an incredibly convenient location—just a 5‑minute walk to the iconic Glico sign. Upon arrival, the staff showed us a short introduction video, which was a nice touch, and we were welcomed with complimentary soda, face masks, bath salts, and toothbrush sets. The room was generously sized, especially compared to most hotels in Japan. We’re a family of four and slept comfortably on the beds provided, and the couch can also convert into a sofa bed. We stayed in the Superior Twin Room in the main building, which also included a full‑size refrigerator. The hotel is within easy walking distance to Namba Walks and Namba Station, with two Lawson stores and a 7‑Eleven just a block away. There’s 24‑hour access to washers and dryers (¥500 per load, with coin exchange available at the front desk), plus a common area with free drinks where you can enjoy takeout meals. Most importantly, the staff were incredibly kind, genuine, and attentive—they truly went above and beyond. On our last day, they even offered to drop us off at the bus stop and made sure we had the correct IC card. We were extremely grateful for their hospitality. Cons (very minor): The toilet is very small, and there are a couple of love hotels nearby. They’re not obvious and our kids didn’t notice—but IYKYK.

This is a great hotel, it’s located right next to a subway exit- you just have to make sure you use the correct one on Google Maps or you’ll be taking the long route across multiple busy streets to get to the hotel. The staff were so nice and friendly. When we were checking out we told them we were taking the Shinkansen and one of the staff members took our full size luggage and led us down the block and through the train station so we wouldn’t have to carry our luggage down the stairs, all the way to the gate! This is the most fun hotel I've ever stayed in. Osaka, in the heart of Shinsaibashi, the staff gave us a free late check-out and ride to the station with our luggage, the room was comfortable and spacious, but the decor and vibe of the hotel just can't be replicated. Amazing!
