Hampton by Hilton Amsterdam / Arena Boulevard

Perfect location, easy to get around, great breakfast selection, and very friendly staff!

I spent 5 nights at the Hampton by Hilton hotel, the hotel location is good with plenty of shop, supermarkets and restaurants. Train station is just beside the hotel. Room is basic and ran down with no fridge, mattresses was hard and pillow was flat. Toilet and cabinet share a common door with a big gap, it is not convenient when we were travelling with my daughter. The downsides are: Buffet breakfast was simple and limited choices. Buffet corner was small and crowded with table set up side by side with limited space in between, the service staffs were hardworking and dashing around to top up food and clearing tables. The feeling was like eating in a stadium’s food corner. Poor house keeping with no standard procedures to upkeep the room. We had a problem of towel shortage, conditional and tissue ran out and not topping up. Call to front desk was engage every night, we had to collect the missing items from the storage at lobby because the front desk staffs were busy and multi tasked to operate the lobby bar. During my Europe trip, I Stayed Marriott in London, Pullman in Brussels and Hampton by Hilton in Amsterdam. Hampton ended up is the most costly among the 3 hotels, overall is also the worst hotel.

This hotel was clean and quiet. Steps from Metro! Would recommend.

Nice hotel but we miss places to have our belongings in the room. And somewhere to have the towels.

They did not have any red wine for 3 days. I also asked for a large beer and they did not have any large glasses, yet 20 mins later they were serving beer in large glasses!! The hotel is very near to the Ajax football stadium so we ensured that they were not playing while we were there. It’s very convenient for a metro in and out of town.

The hotel is located near the train station and very convenient. The staff is friendly. They offer you free drinks if you don't need room service. The breakfast has lots of choices but everyday is the same.the only complain is the sofabed is very uncomfortable.

Staff were really helpful and ok leasant and it was lovely to be rewarded for not getting our room cleaned and fresh towels each day. Really convenient for transport into central Amsterdam too.

Nice hotel and very convenient, staff were extremely polite, friendly and helpful. Only complaint is that the room was very noisy from other guests either side and above.

Great place to stay. Large rooms, very comfortable, plenty of coffee available. Breakfast included is pretty comprehensive, only thing missing was some bacon. The breakfast area feels a little crammed at times but it is a big hotel. They encourage you to think about a breakfast slot to avoid over crowding. Staff are all very helpful. We were given complimentary drinks because we didn't use housekeeping. Loads of shops in the area and transport connections are excellent.

Very good value for money, all staff very approachable and friendly, room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable too! Enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

Stayed here for a short trip to visit friends. Good location for us as we knew our way round. Hotel room could have been cleaner, slightly dusty and crayon writing on the walls.

Very convenient place to stay

You are paying for the convenient location, but it's hard to justify the price. The rooms leave a lot to be desired, but it's fine for a quick overnight stay.

Great location, just a few steps from the station. Staff were all polite and friendly, room was spotless and quiet. Breakfast selection was very varied and plentiful, couldn’t fault.

A pleasant stay and an excellent breakfast. Right next to the train station and just a few minutes walk to the arenas. Not as luxurious as I was expecting, however. Limited choice at the "bar" (part of the reception desk). Kettle in the room, but no fridge, and just 2 tea bags, sugars, etc

Clean. Staff are very friendly and accommodating.
