Hampton by Hilton Amsterdam / Arena Boulevard

There were always not enough bath towels for the four of us. There was one day the staff failed to help clean up the room and clear the rubbish despite our request. There was also security issue as another stayer could open our room (with us inside all startled) with a spare key card she obtained from the reception.

Room and breakfast were great. Evining lounge / bar area was cold with cheap spars functional furniture, no atmosphere nor enjoyable, just functional hence 4 stars.

Practical, convenient, no-nonsense hotel.

The hotel was in a perfect location right near the station and restaurants. The staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and very spacious and the hotel had good facilities

The staff were lovely, the location was perfect. Breakfast and hotel were great. But the reason we book a hotel is to have somewhere to sleep and the beds were horrendous the mattress on the bed was solid and lump, the sofa bed had a massive dip in the middle and the mattress can only be described as sheet thin. The bathroom had mould round the sink and on the floor with dried water stains under the sink. The walls in the hotel room were covered in marks and some pencil drawings. The curtains had what looked like moth holes all over them stopping them from being blackout as there was so much light shinning through the many holes. The noise from neighbouring rooms was horrendous you could hear every word all night long. As a building and location ideal as somewhere to sleep terrible.

Nice staff, rooms clean, breakfast could be better… : orange juice awfull… in place giving saisages with scrapble eggs, would be better bacon … ! Litlle problem at check out … they didn’t found the payment of vat and taxes.. She already pais at the arriva… a bit annoying when someone told you that you didn’t paid but that you paid at arrival…

Clean room, great staff, good food. Great location.

Hotel staff very friendly upon arrival and room exceptionally clean, unfortunately bed was very firm so didn’t have the best nights sleep. Breakfast had a reasonable selection, so there was something for everyone, the best cup of coffee ever in a hotel! Hotel so close to the Metro was very easy to get into Amsterdam centre and extremely convenient for the concert at AFAS Live that our stay was booked for.

Aardig personeel, snel inchecken. Verder geen gedoe met uitchecken.
