Staff super helpful and friendly. Wonderful location. Coffee/food shops close handy. Woolies supermarket around corner on Elizabeth st. Dark, quiet room for sleeping. Microwave useful. Tourist info available. Terrific Thai restaurant in basement but book ahead. It was so busy we opted for takeaway (Friday night). Will certainly use this hotel again in the future.

This hotel is a hidden gem in a small laneway. Night-time is quiet. The rooms are in excellent condition. Eveeywhere is clean and extremely well maintained. Plenty of hot water and great pressure. Bed is comfortable and things like showercap, facewashers and a microwave are appreciated. (not all hotels stock these items). There are lots of hotels in the CBD, yet I will return to this little treasure

Very disappointed, the main thing you want is a comfortable bed not a bed that could've been mistaken with the floor. Woke up sore every day we stayed not feeling rested. Also bathroom needed to be cleaner. And aircon seemed locked on the one temp. Should be controlled by customer.

Staff informed us parking was across the road after we had parked, there were no signs to inform us, TV didn’t work, reception staff were quit haphazard, the night attendant was excellent, bed was comfortable

We loved our stay. Yes a budget hotel but fantastic staff, well located and the great price it is hard to go elsewhere. Our room on level 5 was whisper quite, the bed and pillows better than some five star hotels we have stayed at.

The location of this property was perfect. The food outlets and shopping around the hotel made it easy to get around. We also liked the 3 beds in the one room as it was perfect for our family. The bathroom was large and clean.

Suituated in the heart of Melbourne. * Really easy to get to from the airport -Airport bus and tram -Tram stop almost out the hotel. * Comfortable bed / Warm room / Graet shower / good internet/ Helpful staff /Good work desk and great cafes and bars nearby. * Plus a very fair price -What else do you need? * I have been staying here when in Melbourne for the last 5yrs and it is always good to come back to.

Hotel charges a $50-$100 card hold which is absolutely absurd because to test a card you only need to do a zero dollar transaction. The money is also held for a full 31 days, which means that you do not have access to those funds. Stuff at check-in was entirely dismissive. Room was also not made up and the only excuse given was an apology that it was missed, which is entirely unacceptable. Hotel is in an alley and there are many homeless people at night and given that the rooms are not soundproof, all the noise comes in. Not a safe location at night especially in Melbourne CBD.

Excellent staff , young tall thin man who served me on the desk was excellent . Very central for CBD . Disappointed that there was no bar or no info in room about WiFi etc .
