Hotels near Shelly Beach

The room was larger than we expected, actually had a separate bedroom with king bed, lounge/dining and mini kitchen area plus a bathroom as expected. Friendly professional staff and very clean premises right next door to a fantastic restaurant/brewery! (great food).

We received a friendly welcome, and the apartment was spotless and very comfortable. After running a half marathon, the warm spa was a welcome benefit.

Lauren was amazing! I made contact a couple of times via email to make some requests and ask some questions, and she replied promptly each time. She was a fountain of knowledge about local activities and venues (all of which were in walking distance) and shared these at check-in. Check-in was seamless, the location was perfect, the apartment was clean and spacious. The vouchers for discounts on breakfast and gelato were a pleasant and unexpected bonus. We were lucky enough to get early check-in and late check-out. We had a late flight home, so they stored our bags after check-out. Awesome experience.

We had an apartment at the back—so quiet. Spacious and comfortable. Great staff and service at the restaurant with good size servings. Looking forward to returning.

Newport's position is brilliant. Just park the car and walk to cafes, restaurants, the surf club, The Esplanade—just about everything is nearby for that short stay where you don't want to be driving everywhere. We were on the top floor (15) which afforded us a great view of the coastline. Didn't try the pool—winter up here so decided to leave that for another time. The unit has enough for self-catering, but who wants to cook on a break when there is so much nearby? I'll be back.
