Rooms are a bit tiny compared to US standards. Shower was next to the bed. Other than that would stay again.
The Breakfast! Is a must! Loved the seating, loved the options, and most importantly loved the view. C’mon, how can you say no to healthy sausages, eggs, fruits, mimosas, and spiked tomato juice. Breakfast, Breakfast, and Breakfast 🙂

Breakfast was terrific in terms of the quality of the buffet and the service. The view from there was wonderful. We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. Will return.

Very nice hotel in a very good location, close to ”everything” in Vienna. Very service minded staff, both in the reception and at the excellent breakfast, which is served in the roof-top bar. Weather was great, which helped making the breakfast experience magical. We can highly recommend this hotel!

It was a decent stay for sure this hotel has been a staple for many of my stays. However the recent change of what’s provided for bottled water has shocked me.
They offered Thalheim Heilwasser in the past an absolute amazing product that truly embodies healthy living and healing properties for a much lesser product for bottled water.

Great location, 'marmite' rooms (we didn't like the shower and washbasin being directly in the room), poor communication (e.g. how to use hotels.com voucher), lovely staff overall but inattentive at times as not enough of them, e.g. at breakfast - where some of the food and service was excellent but in other parts terrible.
Room was missing basics such as shower caps, cotton buds, etc. and the coffee pods, sugars, creamers were not replenished. Heating/cooling controller made no difference (not working?). No conditioner (just all-in-one liquid) or moisturiser. Only half the towels replaced when room was serviced - why?
Pool is as tiny as it looks in the photos, and no dressing gowns provided. As our ladies were not comfortable walking through the hotel in swimming costumes, we didn't use the pool.
Overall, not a bad hotel but management team needs to focus on customer needs and pay attention to details. We regularly stay at other 4 and 5 star hotels and the GF does not compare well as a 4.5 star hotel in terms of value for money, attention to detail or customer focus.

1. Vi syntes, at det er det rene tyveri, at man skal betale 45 euro pr. person pr. dag for morgenmad. Det er mere end deres bedste bøf til aftensmad kostede. Så vi spiste morgenmad ude rigtig godt hver dag og til under halv pris.
2. De kvindelige personer i reception var meget venlige og imødekommende men det var stik modsat for den mandlige. Han skulle på et lille kursus så han ved hvad service betyder.

Very nice hotel with wonderful staff. The room was comfortable and the location is amazing. We dined at the Limon Restaurant on the 8th floor. Beautiful restaurant, delicious food, great service and beautiful views.
The quietest hotel I have ever stayed in. At first I was concerned because our room was across from the elevator, but once inside we never heard a sound from outside our room.

Had a wonderful stay. The room was clean and beautifully designed. We had a great night's sleep on a comfortable bed in a quiet room. The location put us near parks and landmarks. The staff was warm, professional and went out of their way to make our stay a great experience. We will definitely stay there again.

Overall the hotel is in a great position and although it is not decorated in my personal taste, it is very stylish. There’s two main issues potential customers may encounter. Firstly the hotel and rooms are very dark and the lighting is extremely confusing in the rooms. Where the Grand Ferdinand loses points is the service particular upstairs on the 8th floor. Breakfast is absolute chaos. Don’t expect to get a hot drink quickly and don’t be surprised if they forget to bring you a meal from the breakfast menu. We also had issues in the day waiting to be served. The evening service in the lemon restaurant was much better. The food quality was extremely good.
