Our stay at Hotel Konig von Ungarn was 10-stars perfect in every way! Located in inner stadt along street leading to St. Stephens's Cathedral, it is a true gem - a very historic hotel decorated in classic Viennese style furnishings and has a warm & inviting ambience. Our room was of a very large size with wood paneled walls, gorgeous Classic furnishings, beautiful chandelier, and vintage paintings. The bed was very large and extremely comfortable. The room had mini bar, large tv, large walk-in closet with safe, and huge bathroom with double sinks, large tub with 2 types of shower heads. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean, an excellent cleaning staff! The bedding and towels were of wonderful quality. Rooms and hallways are carpeted adding to the tranquil quiet charm of the hotel. Breakfast is served in lovely room with many tasty choices and eggs cooked to-order, coffees to-order by friendly staff. In center of hotel is a beautifully decorated covered courtyard with relaxing seating lounge and bar, and always fresh flower arrangements. The staff of this hotel were remarkable - wonderfully kind, helpful, courteous & charming - both the reception desk team as well as the breakfast servers - all were a true delight! We thank all of them for their many kindnesses and for a truly wonderful stay - and special thanks to dear Waltraud at the front desk. This beautiful charming hotel and fabulous staff made this a truly fantastic stay and we are already hoping to return!!

The area was perfect for walking to everything! The Hofburg, St Stephens cathedral, St Peters church....restaurants . It was gorgeous too. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful! Thank you for a beautiful stay!

The hotel was excellant, there is not one thing I would change. The room was quiet, very clean, comfortable and had all needed amenities. The breakfast was ample, had many options and a charming setting. The courtyard was a great place to sit, have some wine, relax. BUT the best part of this hotel is the warm attention of the staff to all their guests with sightseeing, directions, personal attention. I had an 8 am flight arrival and I was able to check in at noon, they had my luggage upstairs when I returned to check in. They really cared about guests.
Location: The hotel is situated near St Stephan's Platz, making it walking distance to many sites and all the others are easy to reach by public transit. The immediate are has dining and shopping options.

A great family run hotel in the center of Vienna, right next to Stefanplatz and adjoining the Mozart House (one of them at least).
While the location is excellent for convenience, it is also very noisy by it's very nature of being at the center. The hotel staff was extremely accommodating and moved me to a room in a higher floor and to the other side of the building after complaining about the excessive noise that lasted past the weekend.
The inside courtyard is amazing and worth experiencing. Really nice breakfast also with great staff.

This was one of the best hotel experience we have had in a very long time. Konig von Ungarn is a true jewel of a hotel in every respect. It is charming, beautifully and lovingly furnished and decorated, the stall is professional, friendly and helpful, the beds are very comfortable (I love the two duvet idea on a king size bed!! How civilised!!), and the location is simpy ideal. Cannot wait to go back.

Nice, big room. Soft towels. They also brought in a tiny Christmas tree/plant on Christmas Eve during their turnover service. Choc on pillow every day. Staff speaks good English and are kind. Brekkie spread could be better but if you love eggs cooked multiple ways, you will love the spread

Hotel is elegant, well-situated on a side street several doors from St. Stephen's Cathedral, and surprisingly quiet given how busy the area is around the Cathedral. It was easy to walk from the Hotel to various other Center City attractions or to the St. Stephen's U-bahn stop. Staff were pleasant and helpful. The concierge, Michael, who we reached out to a few weeks before the trip, was able to find us two tickets to a sold-out Saturday night performance of Sleeping Beauty at the Vienna State Opera House!

The hotel and its staff are top notch!! Terrific location centrally in Vienna and easy to navigate the nearby U-Bahn. Rooms are extremely comfortable and the bar downstairs is a plus. One of the best hotels that we’ve stayed at in Europe. Highly recommended!!!
