Sugar Bay Barbados - All Inclusive

The staff were amazing. Friendly and courteous. Food in the buffet was very good and both la carte restaurants were excellent.

Fantastic, friendly hotel. The beach is amazing and the staff, without exception, professional and helpful. The food and drink were of exceptional quality. We had one of the best ever holidays here!

This resort was perfect for us. To start, transportation from the airport to the resort was extremely easy to book, efficient and not a far drive from the airport. Check in was seamless. Our room wasn’t ready until 4. They do have a room with a changing room, shower, bathroom so you can change and enjoy the day depending when you arrive. All food here is good, which you don’t come by often at all inclusive resorts. The buffet menu changed daily for dinner and lunch. They have two restaurants on the property which were both good. Umi was our favorite - the sushi was 10/10. Children are allowed at this resort and mostly stay at the pool. There is only one main pool and one small pool (which nobody went in). The beach was great, they come and put up an umbrella for you so you don’t have to worry about getting shade. The staff is very nice. All around I would come back. This is the perfect place to relax & a no frills resort.

Lovely hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Food very good and varied dining options. Super ambience. Only downside is no sunbeds ever available at the pool in spite of notice saying reserving sunbeds not allowed. Many were empty all day with no one using them even after putting towels on them. Policy should be enforced.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was amazing with a wide variety for vegetarians. The beach that the hotel is located on is beautiful, the water is so blue and clear. Overall an excellent stay, we would highly recommend Sugar Bay.

Sugar Bay was a beautiful spot. Beach was beautiful! It is part of a coral reef, so swim shoes a must. Different dinner options every night, a nice mix of local and international cuisine! Amazing staff, beautiful and so helpful and friendly! It is very close to Bridgetown, and local transportation very easy to take. Also not far from airport, 20 mins, which make Sugar Bay a perfect location. They accommodated our stay with a family room with three single beds, which suited us perfectly. Very clean and well organized overall! We throughly enjoyed our stay!

I loved everything about my staff. The staff are amazing - friendly and helpful - nothing is too much trouble. The room was just like the images on the website. The best thing was the food, normally all inclusive options are a bit boring, not here! I had no reason to eat outside. Only thing was that the clientele were not really my type, so I kept myself to myself, solo traveller. Most were couples of different ages. I will come back again.

Food was amazing!

It was a relaxing stay. The buffet meals available for 3 meals was Amazing! Staff was very friendly and welcoming!

My wife and i just got back from Sugar Bay Resort for our honeymoon, and we are still smiling from ear to ear!! Such an incredible experience from the moment we arrived up until the day we left. The resort was beautiful, clean and well kept, and absolutely stunning location on the ocean. The biggest standouts for us was the top notch service from Sugar Bay staff and the food!! We had such great time and would absolutely come back. Highly recommended 👌

We loved our stay at Sugar Bay. The staff are wonderful and the location is beautiful. The food is some of the best quality we’ve had at an all inclusive. There is a slightly more limited choice for food compared to some of the bigger hotels, but it is varied enough (with themes some nights to break it up) to ensure you don’t get fed up. There is a great beach side bar, with a great choice of cocktails and a beer/wine/brut when you want something less sweet. The cocktails are good quality, but understandably not quite city cocktail bar standard. However, certainly good quality for an all inclusive, and always served quick. The bar staff were fantastic too. The staff around the hotel, especially Kimberly and Shamara who were seen cleaning around the ground floor, always greeted you with a smile and conversation. The rooms were nice, but without many frills, and some slight cosmetic damages - but with the beach as beautiful as it was you didn’t want to spend any time in there anyway!

We loved our time at Sugar Bay. The resort was great & the food was excellent. The staff was super friendly & professional, especially Akiel in the wait staff area!! He made our group's time extra special, he was kind, courteous & attentive. A shout out to the nice woman who checked us in & Jason at the water sports area.

One of our best trips

The food and drinks were incredible. Excellent location and great beach. Not quite an all inclusive as you're limited to one visit to the sushi restaurant and one visit to the steakhouse. The furniture in the rooms could definitely use an upgrade. Most is particle board with water damage. Overall it was a good place and nice stay.

Sugar Bay was a very good all inclusive resort. I would definitely go again.
